This is like trying to watch a soap opera when you've never seen it before. By the time you figure out the plot, all the players change bed partners.
So what you're saying is:
The President is unpredictable, irrational, and likes those who kiss .....
Those who kiss ...... are the ones running the show.
He's charging you to go on the chat board by requiring you to make at least two purchases for which you receive positve feedback, before you can enter said chat board.
He said he'd never charge fees, but now is charging a whopping $5 dollars per year to get verified (I know, it's not the amount, it's the principle, and I understand that entirely!)
Above mentioned .....kissers are spiteful, vindictive, foul mouthed, illiterate, inbred garbage collectors who try to pass their junk off as collectibles and attack anyone who questions their sincerity.
Does that cover it-or did I miss something during the commercial? This is a soap that might be worth watching!

LOL, so I missed another re-re-re-reappearance from cuff/bidvilledotcom/GettaLife/MsObserver etc etc, the one who always crowed about turning everyone else in for violating AW guidelines? And had the nerve to slam "trolls" and speak about other peoples character. The way she always targeted anyone who posted other than "Bidville is the greatest site ever" I imagine it was another personal attack against me. The beat goes on indeed. Yawn. I don't suppose she actually addressed any of the valid issues I posted? Oh why am I asking, no BV fan ever does, they just rip apart anyone who doesn't have 100% faith in BV. Personal attacks reign when they can't think of a defense for the real issues. Looks like you're going to get your wish on your fave widdle ssite. Such stimulating conversation, worthy of the $2.50 minimum admission fee I'm sure. For old times sake...
To tell you the truth kasmoon I largely ignore most of your posts and, my last was posted for all Trolls (again... you know who you are) If that includes you, so be it.

Between your multi id's you've probably been moderated as many times as I've posted. If you really believe that shows everyone a fine example of a typical BVer it's no wonder in your mind you also believe it's a great site.

That must be a can of [[[[ Raid ]]]] that she's holding in her hand. Well no in depth moderating anymore so I now like to say that the trailer trash mentality based core of BV chat board posters are very afraid of anyone that posts there with an IQ over 90. They try to ignore those posters and then jump on them at any opprotunity to get them to leave the Trailer Park.
Several months ago there was a much beloved BV member that started the first BV "banner sale" and there were scores o posts saying "Thanks BV member! You're Great!" If you now read the current threads at the Trailer Park they now have her being an evil she-devil that deserted the Trailer Park and even made a truthful but not to their liking assesment here on AW.
I'd also like to add that the site administration ( not the I-don't-want-to-be-a-doctor-anymore guy ) is a real Barney Fife idiot. "Can I load my bullet Andy?!?!"

You know, I have never been able to figure you people out. I continually wonder why on earth you spend so much time with your panties in a bunch over what happens over at BidVille.
You seem intelligent enough..informed etc. So why the almost obsessive bad mouthing of this particular auction site? It makes zero sense.
I could go on an itemized bender about your foul, offensive comments but there really is no point. Right?
I will address what has been my pet peeve about the BV Cafe and you (and they) can chew it over and implode if you like. I call very few people my friend there and what they have to say matters..but that's it, just a small few.
I hate cliques. I do not respect people that panic over whether they are liked by a clique. I am my own person and do my own thing. Love me or hate me, your choice. I say what I mean to say and do not back down unless it is for a damn good reason. When I first got to BV I was disgusted by the rampant bashing of anyone that disagreed with a few dominant personalities in the cafe. I had to "fight" to make a place for myself there. Sometimes I am mad enough to leave..I may do so one day. So please don't go grouping me in with any group of people, that is extremely offensive to me. If anything gets me madder it is being stereotyped as a "hen" or "trailer trash". I have seen trailer trash, it ain't pretty. Also, if there is a pecking order over there I am low on the totem pole right where I like it. Also, I am not stupid, uneducated or illiterate.
As for the BV auction site..
I know that "Free Forever" should have been honored, the Prez know's that too. I disagree as well with his charging for verification. Initially I agreed that sure the Prez should not have to put out money because of me, I'll pay my own way. However, using AW as an example, I just entered my credit card info to post - to become verified, and I did not see a charge for it. I don't think anyone should have to be in a panic over whether or not they can make a crummy $5.00 fee to stay on BV. I think the Prez may be feeling badly about this too, but now he has painted himself into a corner. No dignified way out. If I were Mr. Orlando I would come out and say ok, it's your choice to be a verified member or not , your choice to buy from a verified member or not. Make it an option to refuse bids from unverified members. All require just a little programming effort and would keep the vast majority of the natives from being restless.
The 300,000 +/- books listed by one possibly absent seller are blatantly ridiculous.
I noticed a few videos in violation of copyright law as well, but did not pursue it. CS never responds to my e-mails about things so I quit trying.
I get crazy when I type in something on the search, and come up with 2,000 items and 1,900 are sportscards. Just try to get an "exclude sportscards" option thread going and look out.lol
BBV is easy to use.
It is inexpensive. ( I list at Yahoo and also on the Bay.)
It has potential.
I am willing to put forth my effort to help BV grow. Sometimes against almost insurmountable odds.(lol)

Thanks for your interesting post and I apologize if any of my comments have offended you. I (and we) tend to paint the BV members with a broad brush.
Of course there are respectable, responsible and intelligent people (buyers and sellers)over there. However, the most VISIBLE are the ones by which the site is judged. The site is dominated by people who wear ignorance and hypocracy like a badge of honor! I don't find the "burpin', fartin', scratchin' and spittin' mentality" attractive, interesting or amusing. Unfortunately, it is human nature to judge people by the company they keep.
Nor can I accept the willingness of the "PREZ" to cave in to the mob everytime they launch new demands. His policy changes are reactive and there is no evidence of management ability.
As I have stated before...I had high hopes for BV and am very disappointed. Perhaps their PREZ will someday take control of his site and BV can become the site it was originally intended to be. They have already lost MANY quality sellers AND buyers. I hope it isn't too late to salvage what COULD be...!

I consider Kodiak the top of the pecking order. No one will, in no way ever, win an agrument with her. Perhaps the frozen tundra has steeled her into a biker chick but it's her way or the highway.
The smartest move on the chessboard for the BV founder is to disband the message center completely. It serves no purpose whatsoever. If a few users leave the site then so be it. BV is the most unprofessional online site in existence. No chat boards can compared to the gang run mess over there. The site is doomed to failure so why not try eliminating the boards to see if they really matter?

At least the message board keeps them all in one place. Except for the occasional foray over here, they generally stay pretty close to home. Dismantle "their" message board and they will scurry off to use (and abuse) some other message board.
I want BV to succeed. That will only happen when the PREZ gets his mob under control. Maybe he should take a few of those "verification" dollars and HIRE an administrator who knows how to run a site.
