Linda, Clinton said over and over that the WOMD he was referring to were chemical and biological, not nuclear like Bush claimed. Saddam (allegedly) wanted to build nuclear power plants and was trying to buy the fuel rods from NK but Clinton put a stop to that.

Another evil deed - Daniel Pearl's murder - his throat was slit and then they beheaded him too.

Thanks for explaining that, kraftdinner. I could have given the direct link but I did not.

My pleasure Helen

Yes, I saw Helen, that you said it was horrible, but in an entirely seperate post you said I watched the video etc

Oh No, no one shows people being killed, only charred, gruesome pictures of the dead.

Libra, you're free to start your own interesting topics.

And yes, I agree with Helen most of the time. I also agree with Reamond, Kiara, Cheryl, Prof, KC, Fenix, and a handful of others here that I feel have it on the ball. So what?

You're right Linda. Everything I read is wrong and everything you read is right.

Near, the point is, Helen didn't post a link to the pictures without saying what you were about to see. EAG did and he should be ashamed of himself.

You have to be kidding. Skylite's pictures were there for me to see whent I clicked the thread. How many times do I have to say it. EGM as you call her/him at lease put the clickable link on and I don't click links just because of that.

I am sure if I said the earth was round someone would find fault in that.....

Libra, again, Skylite has never posted pictures of a person in the process of being killed (beheaded). If he did, I would be just as dissappointed. Also, my point is about him posting a link without a warning, not the pictures themselves.

I guess you don't understand what I said. I don't click a link because You or rather I don't know what is there. I have said that many times.

i.e. When someone sends you an email with a click-able link and they don't tell you what it is do you click it? If so why. Do you know what is there? No, not unless they explain that link. It could be good but then again it could be bad so therefore I don't click that link. But when you go to a thread you don't expect pictures like skylite posted this is why skylite is on ignore with me along with the other poster who doesn't know how to communicate only with pictures. I guess it is okay for your group to post pictures but the other group can't....BTW this young man was not the only one beheaded. If was a horrific thing to do and I am sorry this happened especially for the family and also for the young man. That was a terrorist action and that is what terrorists do. No words can explain how I felt.

Kraft, you didn't have to click the link. Anyway, there was a warning on the page about the graphic images. You could have stopped there. No one forced you to scroll down the page to where the graphic photos were.

The lefties don't seem to object when skylite posts graphic photos (not links) of mangled bodies.

Libra, this is not email we're talking about. Posting links saying something is evil could be anything. There was already a thread about this topic but EAG (Ebayauctionguy) chose to start his own thread on the topic without letting anyone know his link would show someone being killed. VERY different than showing pictures of the dead Iraqi's, which imo, Skylite is trying to show that they too are human beings.

What's pathetic wgm, is the fact you have a President in charge that's bringing your country to it's knees with another un-win-able Viet Nam, that YOU support.

It is PATHETIC

Look EAG explained, ya know, AT THE LEAST there is a warning.

But to click on a thread like Iraqi fast food WHATEVER it said, it had no warning on the title or the thread, and surely didn't sound like a 'graphic' thread, but TADA, and thats all well and fine, its not.

Iraq is NOT ANOTHER VIETNAM

We don't have draftees in Iraq. When they drafted back then, some of those boys ran up to your country, so not to go. This is a completley VOLUNTEER military.

my my
the attention i am getting, it does seem i am doing an affective job.....

first to the people who are pro war ....you have been decieved by your own leaders...

and your children are being murdered for corporate profits....

as for pictures and if some of you can not understand...pictures are better sometimes than a whack of words....ever hear a picture is worth a thousand words....

as for this recent incident please do more research and ask the right questions, which no one here has asked yet....

this whole mess is costing lives, jobs, and has put this planet on the offensive....

america will be the cause for world war 3...think about that one....

already some of you have talked about even nuking Iraq....think about that...who the h#ll are you people to even think that way...well i already know....

the evil is that america does not belong there in the first place...and the world hates a america right now, in many countries american products are been boycotted, and that is fact, not good for business.....

and yes put me on ignore, because i know it hurts some of you to know the truth...which i have said before this war started....

so be ostriches and put your heads in the sand....

and are you now enjoying the gas prices....the unemployment, and your taxes are going to increase, and so will government service fees, and yes shortly they will be snatching your chidren for military duties....which reminds me i have yet to hear any rich elite corporate company kids in the military...how come they are not joining...how come...anyone got an answer....thought not....

has anyone asked are these really terrorrists or someone else who killed this unfortunate soul.....wag the dog....away from the truth of what america stands for today....

what would the senario be if Iraq invaded america and imposed it's ways upon the american people....what would you do, in the mean time Iraq soldiers and it's allies, would be arresting american civilians on any reason, torturing them, murdering them, men and women and children, how would you respond to that...plus they destroyed a large portion of your infustructure,in the intial attack and killed a large portion of your population, and then brought in their own workers to make profit in building back the destruction they created in the first place....what would you do...tell me ...WHAT WOULD YOU DO.....ANYONE.....thought so....and you wonder why lives are being lost, over there....

botton line, america will be remembered for starting world war 3 in the history books , that's if there will be a history for us on this planet........

Near, not everyone stares at the computer screen waiting for pictures to load. So you won't be against it if I post links to stills of animals in the process of being slaughtered or puppy mills, etc? I won't give you any prior warning because, hopefully, these sites will come with their own so I'm not responsible.

LOL NTS - and much less stressful too.

--------------------

Let's see...today is Wednesday and I read it this week - so it may have changed- but this week I read where kerry things we need to send MORE troops to Iraq.

And the article said only 11% of those who say they support him are aware of that fact.

Boy...once the other 89% find out maybe he won't have quite so many supporters.

Any facts posted here are always ripped apart as it is obvious.

Who is to determine what is fact?

I've come to the conclusion that no matter what I post here it's going to be ripped apart by a few others, whether it's fact or not.

It's a fact that I don't support Bush but that I still love America but I'm accused of being anti-American.

It's a fact that I don't support the insurgents or terrorists but I am accused of supporting them.

If I mention facts that the troops are being killed or injured because there aren't enough of them to do a proper job of security or that they don't have enough body armor I'm accused of being negative.

If I say the fact that the networks of terrorists got into Iraq after Bush invaded I am attacked for saying it.

If I say it's okay to not believe what your government tells you I am attacked and accused of being anti-American.

I have been attacked or ripped apart for what I believe, what I read, where I presently choose to live, the health system I am under, the television I choose to watch and for almost everything else I voice an opinion on.

But that shouldn't stop any one of us from saying what we truly believe or from posting links or pics if it's within Vendio guidelines to do so. What's the use of a forum or a debate if only one side gets to speak their opinion?

BTW, some may have just read about Kerry saying about more troops being needed but he's been saying that for awhile already.
