This is one other thing that you could try on your primary computer:
- install a second SMPro copy to a different location
- start the synch, but stop it after a few minutes, when the lengthy download of images starts
- then, add the images to the SMPro image bar directly, by copying them from the old installation.
This is how you can add the images to the SMPro image bar directly:
Click the menu entry File > Add Images, go to the folder on your old installation where images are located (C:\Program Files\AuctionWatch\images), select the image files with the mouse (you can select multiple images at once by holding the <Shift> key pressed) and then click OK.
You might want to do this image import in smaller chunks, perhaps a few hundred images at once. Once you are finished and all images are added to the new installation, you can start a synch again, which will just check your images for differences - with no lengthy download or upload.

That's impossible - it will take just as long as the stupid download that's on my second computer, and been going on since Sunday. I don't think you realize how many 31,000 picture really are. I am not going to do this, I'd have to do it manually, a few hundred at a time - do you really think I have the time for that?????
This is getting beyond ridiculous. I can't believe you are not able to help me fix this problem.

It is now 3 PM my time, 6 hours after my request for help - again. And of course no response, nothing. I cannot believe this.

Hello Mimi,
I'm sorry for the frustration this is causing you. Unfortunately, with this many images involved, there is probably no easy fix. The application may be hanging up on one image that is formatted incorrectly, or it could be that the large amount of image data has resulted in data corruption. If you try Radu's suggestion, this might help eliminate the problem if it is due to data corruption.
Unfortunately, your system is inaccessible to us so we can only make suggestions which might help resolve the issue.

I just want to make sure I am understanding correctly - you are basically washing your hands of the problem.
I have done everything that was asked of me, and nothing has helped.
You said there was a log available, but beyond telling me it was there (which is wasn't), nobody has helped me figure out where I could find a log on the program without opening it.
Then you say I just have to re-install and import all 31,000 pictures. This means about 3-4 days of work for one person. It's absolutey incredible.
Now does AW officially say they cannot handle the volume we are doing? I want to know and have it on the record when I dispute the charges I am getting of over $150 per month (and that is one one account, I have two, I am also touchofeurope1). So basically I am paying in excess of $2,000 per year for nothing.
I want to be absolutely clear on this before I take further action. This is incredible. You basically offer suggestions that are impossible, impractical or plain wrong. When nothing works (what a surprise), I am told I have to take care of it myself.
The download on my second system is still continuing, since Sunday - 3 days now.
I guess I know what I need to do now, as soon as I have some time I have to find another host.

Another thing - if I can't delete the older images - why can't someone there do it for me? I don't need anything that is older than Dec. 15
