Neroter - Liked that did ya? Well....I was only acting the way I'm treated by some around here. Trying to play the part as I see it.

And I agree about ones own 'capacity'. As in witnesses at the scene of accidents....all give different versions of what they 'saw'....yet all truly 'saw' the same accident. Human nature.

I'm hoping more will join in on this reversal roll playing. Like parklane, desquirrel, bunni ETC..... and maybe even some lurkers. That would REALLY be funny. How they see all of US and the views we hold...without naming names.

Hi my name is Yellowfarm and I just got an email from my friend, my soulmate, my confidant, Lindamuggins. She has directed me to inform you that us liberals are always right about what we say and those nasty neocons are always wrong. An example is the mess that dumbya has gotten us in over in Iraq with his puppet government under Dick Cheney and their quest for more power and oil. Yes that's right this war is really about oil. We don't care that the neocons could steal oil a whole lot easier from Mexico or Venezuela. They just wanted to cause alot of trouble over in the middle east, as if those poor people haven't been through enough.

We all know how stupid they are. Just look at al the c&p's that they do in here and oh that bolding really just chaps my hide. Also look at their sig lines, why do they have to have such long sig lines??

Hi! My name is just plain Yellow and I'm a neocon who got a nerve struck in this thread and had to start getting personal.

Those darn libs, their sarcasm hits a little too close for me.
I have no friends so when I see other posters who are friends and email each other I writhe with jealousy. But I only have myself to blame , if I could just become human instead of Republican maybe I could have friends, too.

And I don't care how stupid it looks I like lots of sig lines because as a Righty I know that if you just take a simple line (like from a bumper sticker) and repeat it enough really stupid people will believe it.
PS: It doesn't have to be true...in fact none of the Republican ones are but don't tell anybody.

I'm a proud lifelong Republican. As I was watching the Hurricane coverage last night (on Fox, of course) I had the most wonderful idea. Wouldn't it just be great if Jeb Bush ran for president in 2008? Then we could have 16 consecutive years of a Bush presidency. They would turn this (the greatest country on earth) around and put those anti-american liberal commies in their place.

My name is Gorgeous Millibank Buck and I'm an RR (Rich Republican).
I was born in a very fancy private hospital and grew up with everything I could ever want and MORE! I was taught that the world was mine and I was the most important thing in it.

I went to Yale not to get an education but because it's simply the thing to do since daddy belongs to Skull and Bones it seemed appropriate. After all, what do you need an education for when you're going to inherit billions and several companies. So I just had a great time drinking, drugging and getting in trouble which was OK because my parents who are alumni just bailed me out with a hefty contribution.

Then I went to "work" in one of my daddy's big companies in a lowly position so I could work my way up..... vice-president. Well, I did have to work(show up) a whole MONTH to get that position but it was waiting for me.

I learned that profit is everything. Making myself, daddy, and the stock holders richer is the purpose of the company.

And it's getting so much easier under a Republican president and congress.

Why a few years ago we had to adhere to those annoying pollution control standards...now that bush lowered them we don't have to waste money with new pollution controls whatsoever! Now THAT'S just smart business practices. (Grin), we made a ton of money on that!

Next we cut employee wages by 9%, no good reason but we told THEM that we needed their sacrifice or we'll lose money and they will lose their jobs.....
and they FELL for it ! Fools.
THEN when we need overtime we're getting by even more cheaply...HA Those idiots are so desperate they HAVE to work OT with a pay cut! YIPEE!!!

And for THAT idea I got a $1,000,000 BONUS! I think I'll stick that in my off-shore company with the phony address, then I pay no income tax at all .....leave that to the middle class...there IS more of them than me, ya know.

Oh OH, the one I reeally love is bush's plan to eliminate overtime pay! Wow, think of the money I can stuff in my pockets if these poor fools have to work 12-14 hours days with no overtime ! Yahoo, the stock holders will worship at my feet.

Here's a fun one:

We raised the amount of time employees have to put in to qualify for health benefits. Several of those pathetic part timers claimed that since they worked another job they couldn't put more hours.....that's just BS and sheer laziness...they can get two hours less sleep and make up the time easily.

And if they can't, tough....they can go without health benefits. After all 40 million other Americans do so why not them?

Well, I'm getting tired with all this hard executive thinking....I think I'll take a 3 month vacation...maybe visit my close friends in Saudi Arabia...they're so lavish with their gifts of jewelry and rent-a-terrorist coupons.

Hi, My name is Gerry Falwell and I am a RR, rich republican and from the RR, religious right. My goal is to reach out to young parents and educate them about the repulsive TV shows on the air nowadays. I think it would be a great start to prohibit the airing of such shows as Teletubbys. This show is aimed at preschool children and is covertly trying to convert them into a sinful life of homosexuality. There are no other characters on TV that carry purses and claim to be male. One is even purple in color and everyone knows that purple is the favorite colors of the homosexual.

This is a perfect example of the liberal Hollywood TV industry to corrupt our children. This show and shows like this MUST BE STOPPED. I, along with other religious leaders who hold traditional family values close to our hearts will work tirelessly to eliminate these shows.

Do you have your rubber manure boots on?? So sorry but you have it all wrong, you neocons don't start getting personal. That what us liberals do but only when we wear our rubber manure boots. We will follow someone from thread to thread with our rubber manure boots on posting our superior repertoires. We look for certain neocons weaknesses and we harp on their rubber manure boots until we get them so mad they are about to burst.

Those silly neocons with their rubber manure boots they can't compete with us when we wear our rubber manure boots.

Chao proposed the overhaul to the Fair Labor Standards Act in March 2003 at the urging of businesses and employer groups, which sought relief from mounting lawsuits by workers challenging their overtime status.

The plan immediately drew ferocious criticism from organized labor, Democrats and some Republicans.

The Senate voted last year to stop the administration from issuing the final regulation, but that provision was later dropped under White House pressure.

Congressional approval is not needed for the changes to take effect.

Republican officials said that under the revised new rules, up to 107,000 workers could lose their overtime protection, but 6.7 million workers would be guaranteed eligibility.

As a Republican, I take pride in being called a neo-con. I believe that less government is better government, except when our current administration pays excessive amounts of cash for no-bid contracts to huge conglomerates such as Halliburton. This is ok with me because I'm for corporations making billions of dollars off the tax payers. Why??? Because, I don't pay taxes. You see, I'm rich. I can afford attorneys and tax accountants who can manipulate my 401K, my Roth IRA, my stock options, my mutual funds, my 3 houses, and my Mercedes, BMW, and my Cadillac Escalade so that it is a business tax write off. The best part is that I can get even more money back with Bush's tax cuts.

I am a God fearing man, who goes to church on Sundays, sometimes on Wednesdays to pray that my wife doesn't catch me cheating on her with my secretary. I figure if God can look out for me, then he's a-ok in my book (which of course is the bible- wink, wink). Back to the less government is better government... I believe that we need less government regulations, except on abortions and drug laws. We don't want people thinking for themselves. We want the government to tell women what they can do with their bodies, and people who use drugs... Well they are the scum of the earth, especially those dope smokers, I mean, have you ever seen the movie, Reefer Madness??? Those were crazed lunatics smoking marijuana.

We should axe all social welfare benefits, and give all of the money we save from it towards displacing American workers by giving incentives (aka corporate welfare) to huge corporations that move their businesses overseas.

I cannot stand Michael Moore because he uses comic relief in his so called documentaries, and I hate to laugh, especially when the President says things that make him out to be the @ss that he can be (oops, that was my inner-liberal speaking). It is Michael Moore's fault for the rift in America. He hates all of America and should move to France where he can swill wine all day and each rich, exotic foods. Then he will get fat, oh wait, he is already fat, and if he drinks wine, he may just live to make another movie when Jeb Bush becomes President.

If our leader jumps off a cliff we as loyal sheep like republicans will follow. As a non thinking republican we don't like people with the ability to think.

THINKING PEOPLE WILL VOTE FOR JOHN KERRY AND JOHN EDWARDS FOR A BETTER,STRONGER AMERICA.

non thinking people will vote for Bush and Cheney for a more divided America.

This is from the AFL-CIO which I'm sure doesn't know as much about labor problems as linda does but give them A for effort.

New Reports: Bush Rules Could Cost 6 Million Overtime Pay and Harm Working Families

July 14—At least 6 million workers will lose their right to overtime pay under final Bush administration rules scheduled to take effect Aug. 23, according to a new Economic Policy Institute (EPI) analysis released July 14—one day after former high-ranking Labor Department officials reported that the new overtime rules will substantially erode the overtime rights of America’s workers.

“It’s hard to take the administration’s claims of wanting to help workers seriously, when those who will lose outnumber those who will be helped by 16 to one,” says EPI Vice President Ross Eisenbrey, author of the report Longer Hours, Less Pay.

The Bush administration’s changes to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) would establish new rules for employers to determine if workers are eligible for overtime pay. When the proposed rules were announced last year, the Bush administration claimed it was streamlining the overtime regulations and expanding the number of workers eligible for overtime pay. But workers, their unions and other groups charged the move would deny millions of workers their overtime pay.

Under the new rules, workers who earn as little as $23,660 per year—about $5,000 above the poverty line for a family of four—could see their jobs reclassified as ineligible for overtime pay.

The rules changes will affect workers throughout the economy. For example, as many as 2 million administrative workers will lose their overtime rights under a rule change that makes “team leaders” ineligible for overtime pay, even when they do not supervise others on the team, the EPI report says.

The new rules also will end overtime eligibility for some 900,000 workers without college or graduate degrees who will be newly classified as exempt professionals—nearly 1.4 million workers reclassified as executives under the new rules, another 130,000 chefs, sous chefs and cooks, 160,000 financial services workers and 117,000 teachers and computer programmers—according to EPI.

The EPI report came on the same day House Democrats renewed their efforts to protect overtime pay. The House Appropriations subcommittee, on a party-line vote July 14, defeated

I'm a Republican and a God-fearing Christian which I remind everyone of each time I talk. I can't stand the way the lefties think that veterans who fought for our country should now get some help from our government.

When I see one with missing limbs and living on the street I spend a buck once a year to buy a paper flower from them and then I drive my fancy car to the most expensive restaurant in town and while I'm eating my dinner I pat myself on the back for taking care of the less fortunate. But they spend my dollar donation on booze when they could be putting it in investments like real estate or buying valuable stocks. Each person in this country has an equal opportunity to better himself.

I loathe anyone who mentions those poor vets or posts pictures of injured people in wars so when they do I tattle to Vendio and do my best to get them kicked off forever.

As a Republican we're the only ones allowed to tell people here to STFU or to call women c___s and if any leftie says anything even close to that like the words damn or hell I find it so offensive I tattle to Vendio so they can get booted off.

This proud republican family just moved into our new $750,000 house. You democrats should see it its a real beauty. We have a swimming pool, a 3 car garage our kitchen cost over $60,000 alone. I love my kitchen its all stainless steel and my counter top are real imported stone. Our great kitchen will look new for a long time because we don't use it much. We go out to dinner often and when we eat at home we micro TV dinners or order a meal to be delivered.

I always tip the worker that delivers our meals $2.00. I was thinking about cutting back a little on my tips. After all these delivery guys and gals must make 30 or 40 dollars a night in my neighborhood alone. The workers will have to understand us republicans are going through tough times right now with the stock market so low. When the next Geo. Bush tax cuts for my family kicks in, I will be able to up my tips again to $2.00. Then I will be able to show and tell the working class how the republican tax cuts for the rich really does help them.

YOU WORKING CLASS PEOPLE NEED TO VOTE FOR THE REPUBLICANS SO WE CAN GIVE YOU A HELPING HANDOUT OF $2.00 AGAIN.
