And you're incorrect again. When President Bush stood on that pile of rubble....he and the US did have the full support of other countries. Remember that was BEFORE the Iraq war...not what happened after 9-11. Even if most were only calls made. So your statement has put the cart before the horse, once again.
And on your evaluation of me. LOL - It's worth what I paid for it I guess. absolutely nothing. Pretty sad when someone who expects others to believe he's what he says he is on a chat board would be so very unprofessional as to make a diagnosis/call on the mental health of someone they are ONLY evaluating on their political posts and not the full person. VERY unprofessional...if it's even true at all.

People like twelvetoes just like to add fuel to the fire really not caring about anyone or not trying to help anyone in anyway.

Bear, I am betting a guy like you was very close to the clan. Unlike what you think of yourself, living in Texas doesn't mean you know it all. More people than not on this board seem to question your knowledge. I feel that when the Lord was handing out BRAINS you thought he was handing out TRAINS and hid behind the door.

trai - End of story? I don't think so. Just what makes you so very sure you know it wasn't said sarcastically? It may well have been. Without tone of voice, without seeing facial expressions no one here knows for sure.
To many make assumptions day in day out. Don't ask if what they suspect is true. Or did they take what was said the wrong way? No...immediately jump to conclusions.

Today alone, Linda has come to conclusions at least 10 times, I would estimate even more, but I don't have time to check exactly how many there are.
Thanks everyone for your kind comments about helping Linda out. I generally don't provide my opinion on a person's mental health condition very often, but in Linda's case, I really felt it was necessary to point it out before she does something radical like let her armpit hair grow out and wear sandals.
As to crowfarm- I wouldn't necessarily think that a person who uses alot of LOL's would be mentally unstable. I would be more concerned about the use of emoticons. Her display of smiley faces, winks, tongues, etc concerns me deeply. Perhaps I simply misinformed everybody. Perhaps, Linda is already in treatment. The high use of such emoticons suggests she may be prescribed lithium, or perhaps prozac (which would explain the passive aggressive behavior as well). I don't think she is using any illegal substances that would make her delusional. I think it may simply be a chemical imbalance.

Linda, stay the course. Don't let some namby pamby social worker decide what is normal and what is not. Especially one that would, hilariously, attempt to evaluate someone by posts to a thread. The DSM is a product of the APA, that wonderful association that caved in to the incessant yammering of the sexually challenged and declared that homosexuality is 'normal'. Homosexuality is normal, but posting conservatively to a thread on a computer forum isn't; what a hoot!
I also have a problem with social workers in general. This is a profession that discredits the natural support networks, then recommends costly counseling sessions to replace the normal methods of problem resolution. Reminds me of the manufacturers of baby formula giving away free formula until the mother's milk dries up. Then you pay through the nose. Veeeery similar.

You need to remember that not only is a compassionate person like Rustygumbo worried about Linda_K's health. I have read several other posts from other compassionate people with the same worries. Try not to be so selfish and try to have more compassion. I believe you need to remember what John Kerry told bush that STAYING THE COURSE CAN BE A MISTAKE.

That is the most absurd statement I have heard yet. To the contrary, most social workers support family involvement, family support, and even faith based support. To group all social workers together in recommending costly counseling also shows how uneducated you are when it comes to this profession. Referrals to counseling is only a fraction of what social workers do. Many provide valuable information to people regarding housing, employment, education, transportation, medical care, child care, utilities assistance, child support, legal assistance, and so on. To assume that this profession is one dimensional is asinine and to present it as such is nothing more than a bold faced LIE.
Park- you think you're big and bad because you can use an acronym to get yourself heard. It simply shows how immature and ignorant you really are. If you and Linda continue to assume that my diagnosis of her behaviors are real, you really have alot to learn about sarcasm. I think Linda realizes it was a joke, but she continues to flip flop on everything, so who knows what she'll come up with next. I sincerely hope you realize that not one "liberal" on here takes me seriously about diagnosing her.

I'm sure lots of us laugh at what's posted in here but only linduh feels the need to slap smiley faces and LOL's all over the place like she's desperately trying to point out how funny we all are.
Well, it backfired, she appears to be a grinning idiot laughing hysterically all day long....a serious mental condition.....and she appears to be laughing at dead soldiers and other horrible tragedies.
We also learned that we can tell how upset she's getting by the "smiley thermometer".
Anyone who thinks this woman is close to mentally stable isn't paying attention.
