Yellow, you need to get some facts stright before you post:
sod·om·y (sd-m)
n.
Anal copulation of one male with another.
Anal or oral copulation with a member of the opposite sex.
Copulation with an animal.
The above definition is from dictionary.com
Here is another: sodomy definition – sodomy is the oral or anal sex between two people
Any no matter how you define it. The Supreme Court said it is legal.
I go to strip clubs to talk to women
Yeah right....I suppose you won't believe gays go to bath houses to talk to men

I do NOT believe the USSC decided it was okay for humans to have sex with animals. If you do...I'd sure love to see proof of that one. Like the USSC exact wording on that one.
People still get arrested for using animals for sex. I just read recently about some guy sitting in a car using a chicken for that purpose when the police arrested him.

Well, you must be a lover of SLUTS. I don't date whores or sluts. I like women who are ladies in their mannerisms. Not some chick that just climbed off the back of a Harley, or who works in a strip club. You must be a perfect match for that type. And if that's the only place that you can go to talk to women, that says alot about you.

They said it was legal right after they said people in the South can have sex with and marry family members.
Linda if you want to know why don't you write a letter asking the SC for their definition of sodomy since you seem to take everything so literary. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised by that since Republicans see everything in black and white and can't do any thinking for themselves.

No you said you also visit the convent on a regular basis. You go there so you know ahead of time that you will be coming home without getting any nookie, just like you do when you go to the strip clubs.
So please explain what kind of conversations you have with these women at the strip clubs so don't go to watch the dancers. Do these women actually talk back to you or do they just throw their drink in your face and walk away???

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that Yeager's and Logansdad's posting styles are exactly the same. Notice how they both use bolding rather than italics to quote other posters here. I think that you 2 need some time away from each other, you are starting to sound alike. But then what else could one expect from a couple of butt buddies.

Back OT:What the Republicans still don't get
I know this is going to be really hard for a few of you to accept but liberal Americans ARE Americans. They are about half the population of the US. They are every bit as American as anyone else and every bit as patriotic. So when I hear people using "liberal" like it is bad thing and not just another thing it pisses me off.
There is nothing wrong with being liberal, moderate or conservative. It is all part of the usual checks and balances that make this country run. For the last four years the country has been run totally by conservatives..that is not the way it is intended to be.
GW is the most conservative president we have ever had..to me that is a bad thing but even worse is that the house ,the senate and the congress are all republican held. The supreme court is nearly all conservative when it should be non partisan. No checks ,no balances and the ones in charge are heady with power. Not a good thing for either party. Not a good thing at all.
Now, back to your regularly scheduled gay bashing.

Lets get one thing straight between you and I first (pun intended) What 2 homosexuals do together is not something that I consider to actually be sex. It is something that I consider to be abhorent, deviant and depraved. As far as what it means to me I would have to say that if I can expose these types of people for what they are and bring their lifestyles into focus for all to see then maybe, just maybe they will admit their behavior is wrong and it may just help them to change their ways.

Try looking at it this way; the people have spoken and these conservatives that you so calously refer to have been elected by the people of this country. If you want to effect change, it will be done by voting, or not.

If you look at your statement above, that is your own personal view. It is what your view on what you feel is immoral and deviant behavior. You don't like the fact that you think the gay community is pushing their views on others but that is EXACTLY what you are trying to do with your statements above. Quit trying to push your views on others.
You don't have to like the behaviors of others, but you do have to accept the fact that behaviors which you may not agree with exist.
And that my friend is the definition of tolerance.
You start trying to limit behavior what is next, yellow? Are you going to have problems with other nationalities and traditions you dislike? Are you going to wanna outlaw them?

Hello Robin -
Back OT:What the Republicans still don't get
Well...not quite. It was about how kerry's having trouble convincing voters he'd be better than this President is, especially since the dems have thrown everything they have at him and it's still, according to the polls, a VERY tight race.
I know this is going to be really hard for a few of you to accept but liberal Americans ARE Americans.
Nobody has said they aren't. But conservatives and some moderates think the ultra-liberals, like kerry, don't act in this Nations best interests very often.
They are about half the population of the US.
I disagree. Liberals are only about 1/3 of the democratic party. Ultra-liberals like kerry are in a much small group ....nowhere near 1/2. The choices are not only liberals or conservatives...there are many in different groupings. IE: communists, socialists, progressives, moderate dems on the left....and the same goes for the right. And, of course, many who are social liberals but fiscal conservatives...and all sorts of other 'mixes'.
Kind of like some are on our USSC too.
They are every bit as American as anyone else and every bit as patriotic.
There's much disagreement on that statement as pertaining to patriotic. Like with me...I don't see someone like kerry, who aided and abetted our communist enemies to be patriotic at all. I see him as a typical politician who did and might again sell our country out...in a heart beat. So, needless to say, I don't see him as patriotic...but agree he was born here so that automatically makes him an American. But he's an Internationalist too...BIG TIME...and he often has put other countries desires in front of what's in American's best interest.
To me a President should be on OUR SIDE...and President Bush most definiately is that.
So when I hear people using "liberal" like it is bad thing and not just another thing it pisses me off.
So you can then identify with conservatives being compared to neocons or neonazicons or just plain Nazi's then.
There is nothing wrong with being liberal, moderate or conservative. It is all part of the usual checks and balances that make this country run.
Agreed.
For the last four years the country has been run totally by conservatives..that is not the way it is intended to be.
Sure it is. It comes about by how the states elected their Senate and House reps....just as it was intended to be.
GW is the most conservative president we have ever had..to me that is a bad thing but even worse is that the house, the senate and the congress are all republican held.
I know this is hard for some to understand.... but President Bush is more a moderate conservative than a true conservative.
The supreme court is nearly all conservative when it should be non partisan.
I disagree here too. Imho, our USSC has 4 liberals: Souter, Ginsburg, Breyer and Stevens. Three conservatives: Scalia, Rehnquist and Thomas. And two pinch-hitters that often go both ways: Kennedy and O'Connor.
But I will agree they should be more non-partisan than they sometimes appear to both sides of the aisle.
No checks, no balances and the ones in charge are heady with power. Not a good thing for either party. Not a good thing at all.
Imo, our system works as it was meant to. There are checks and balances if there were not the President wouldn't have requested and received permission from those like kerry to take this nation to war. It would have been voted down. He wouldn't have received funding for that war....it would have been voted down.
I have no doubt that if the situation were reversed and we had a democratic president and a majority in both the House and Senate many democrats would be VERY happy about it.
