"""and too many want to see everything gender neutral. """
No, not "too" many....not enough!
You must want to keep gender bias alive and well.
Well, I hope your DIL and granddaughters appreciate the fact that you'd rather they earned less than a man doing the same job, be passed over for promotions in favor of men, get charged more for services (like car repair) because they're women, pay more for their clothes than men, be called on in class less than boys, not be encouraged to get involved in math and science because those are "men's" fields,
have it assumed they're stupid because they're female, have it assumed they're physicaly weak because they're female, take second place and back seat to men, have a rough time at work because they DARED to take a "MAN'S" job, submit to beatings because they are "owned" by their men, lose their right to vote, to own property, .......and on and on.....
I prefer gender neutral to getting screwed unless it's sex and THAT IS the only place where your sex should mean anything.

classic, kraft has never been with a real man, how would she know?
She lives in Canada remember...
Yes logansdad, kids should be educated at home as well as at school, be taught that homosexuality, transvestites, and other deviant behaviors are not acceptable or right...
Knowledge about those types of wrong choosing individuals is important...
Oh and crowfart... when a man is not arrested for domestic violence against a woman... she can claim to be equal... but we all know she is less than that...

What about your serious, solid 2 year relationship with Ms. Airhead? Turned out to be fake-ola. If you had a girlfriend, or even a friend that was a girl, we'd all hear about it.
...One is the lonliest number that you'll ever do...

No you wouldn't, you don't even know me, so stop trying to think you do...
But that must make you feel good... to think you know something when you don't... you have been played a fool and now you are showing it.... life is grand...

The students told KMGH they never threatened the president and never changed the lyrics to the song.
"It's just Bob Dylan's song. We were just singing Bob Dylan's song ... If you think it has to do with Bush that's because you're drawing your own conclusions. We never conveyed that Bush was the person we were talking about," said Allysse Wojtanek-Watson, a singer for the band.
"She never said anything about killing Bush ... It's crazy, it's chaos. We have nothing in there it says about killing Bush," band leader Forest Engstrom told KMGH.
The principal of the school said he stands behind the students.
There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware
I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind
I think it's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
What a field-day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly say, hooray for our side
It's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away
We better stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, now, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

Obvious and undeniable'..... twelve has a deep, psychotic , dangerous hatred of women.
He says, ""Oh and crowfart... when a man is not arrested for domestic violence against a woman... she can claim to be equal... but we all know she is less than that... ""
Believes it's right for a man to beat a woman....so sick .........but for him to advertises how really scared he is of women is just embarrassing.
But typical neocons believe women are less than men so we probably will go back to husbands having the "right" to beat their wives. I'm sure bush would approve and all the other religious right who hate women so much.

Dylan's song, Masters of War, was written 41 years ago and the lyrics are even more powerful today.
Four decades later and nothing has changed. Actually it's way worse because mankind should know better by now. Wars have never solved anything and no lessons are learned.
And the students singing the songs...... when they reach the corporate world will they all get sucked in too and find that money overpowers everything else?

Twelve, if you had a girlfriend, we'd all hear about it. It would be such a miracle, you wouldn't be able to contain yourself, plus it might make some of the athiests here believe there is a God afterall.
12's searching, KD.
No matter where she's hiding,
she's gonna see him coming,
He's gonna walk right down that street
like Bulldog Drummon.
'Cos he's been searching,
well searching,
oh my goodness,
searching every which a-way.
But like that northwest Mountie.
You know he'll bring her in some day.

About war(s)
I think kiara and helen, are still living [re-living] the sixties.....and are stuck in time.
War most certainly has solved problems. Hitler no longer reigned....Japan took heed and changed for the better....South Korea lives free.....etc...etc...etc.
The '60s are history....long gone. Move up to the 21st century and face the fact that we are dealing with a much different threat now. Flower children have grown up....well, most of them have anyway.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Four More Years....YES!!!
As a parent I would have had fun with it if my kids wanted to do it. I assume that this was for grade school kids (K through 8) and I doubt any mother went out and bought her son a training bra.
The town is in a pretty conservative part of Illinois and I'm sure there were no ulterior motives. Just fun.
According to this article I guess I should be ashamed that my son got married in a kilt. Actually, I thought it was cool and the groomsmen had a lot of fun with it and the girls had fun with their tartans. Adults, too.
Unfortunately, you have to have simple on hand things to do for them because of the kids who have no parental support have no chance to be a part of things here either.
I would imagine (in my experience) the mother who complained complains about everything and finally found a radical group to back her up and get it in the media. I feel sorry for her kids and can predict that though she will never know or admit it they will be pretty wild when they get older.
Linda_k, you can strain your little brain cells thinking all you want, but you have no idea so quit trying to see inside my head. I deal with the reality of the present day and for all the time you take gazing into your crystal ball imagining my life, I may not have even been born yet in the 60's. Clue in...... I don't like war....... I don't care what era it happens in.
Not all of us gaze skyward with blank faces and chant 'Four More Years!' LOL
