"Tell me the fundamentals of the God you believe in that is not associated with any religion. Can you do that?"

Double, I don't know what all religions teach but what I can tell you is, I don't think God is a supernatural man that sits in the clouds making decisions about everyone's welfare. I don't believe in good and bad, although it's a useful tool in our society. For me, the choices I've made in my life has been the biggest teacher when it comes to how I think but if people can become better human beings through the Bible, I'm all for it - look what it did for Dog the Bounty Hunter.

krafty, krafty krafty, I can see youre still riding the tilt-a-whirl having all that fun up there! I'm down here waving to ya: Hi....!! I say this because I didnt ask you the fundamentals of all religion's God. I asked what were yours??

Do you think telling me what yours are not, is the same as telling what yours are? (Tilt-a-Whirl crush to the other side woooh..back around again )

I think at one time you posted you believe God is inside each man. The kingdom of heaven is within.. That right there is a fundamental Christian/Judaeo
belief. But most people dont really understand what it means.

Tell ya the truth, I dont really feel like lecturing or preaching to you on a Friday night here, but when you say you believe in God,.. I dont really think you do. I think, you believe in your own abilities and your own choices. Even a pagan God, kraft, can be beseeched, and produce results it's [power] of that belief...

But what you believe is your own, and thats okay with me.

ps I never watched, dog the bounty hunter, so I dont know to what you refer, but I think it would be safe to give an lol to that, eh?

Classic, you don't know who DOG is?? Watch A&E on Tuesday night at 10:00. Be careful, you might in love with his wife, Beth.

Double, sounds like you already know my beliefs regarding "God", so why ask again? You ask about my fundamentals, yet I already explained how I came about mine.

"I think, you believe in your own abilities and your own choices. Even a pagan God, kraft, can be beseeched, and produce results it's [power] of that belief..."

I'm not sure what you mean. You sound like making my own choices without the Biblical God in my life, is wrong. I guess I've just never felt any great urge to belong to any group in order to have my thoughts justified.

Uh Libra, Crowfarm is saying the same thing I am. Why only snap at her?

I don't snap at you, Kiara or Helen because you do not swear at me in cryptic language. You do not insult. You might get upset but don't throw insults. Read her post. She never calls anyone except her buddies by their right name. There is a long list that she does that you 3 don't do.
She tries to make fools out of 3 of us because she does not know how to post normally. Now how many different names does she use for dblfugger9.

Another thing. Isn't this a discussion board? Now answer that truthfully.

It is not english class, spelling class as she assumes the position as teacher. I never see you 3 critize that. I never check to see if you 3 spell wrong but probably you don't because she never corrects you.

It gets old after a while and after I babysit 8 hours a day and come to the RT I don't need a smart ass telling me how to spell and that is what I think of her....

I hope you understand KD

kraft, I already told you, its your ride, its your life. The only thing I am saying to you is I do think there is a big difference in believing in oneself, and believing in a God even if that god is a rock (pagan god ref).

Libra, dont worry about cf. That is his/her shtick. Cant say anything else? Go for the spelling! It's pretty desperate. And pssstt....there's a secret behind this name. When she types it all fugged up, she gets fugged up! lol!!!!!!!!

classic, I was reading about that guy from Sham and the pharoahs the other night. What an interesting dude he was/is along the lines of Little Richard. I always thought that song about wooly bully was about gossiping: (hattie told mattie) but its not really, is it?

He/they never did get reach the heights they could have as it seems they got caught in a changing rock n roll wave.

I read that some music critic told him he had been on a bender for three days and felt so down under the table. And his response was: "well, you know a snake has to get down and coil again before it strikes".

What do you suppose that really means?

Yes, after seeing those animations he might have to make a special trip out to the pasture tonight.

I can see him now, after he finishes. He'll be gently scratching her behind the ears, saying; they'll never be another ewe.

Well crowfarm I am retired. Jealous....Something that you might never see, especially SS. But I babysit for free for my daughter and son-in-law. Something that you will probably never do. Heaven forbid if you even have children.

I see nothing in you that would help anyone out. You are to self centered. It's all me me me and there is nothing I get from your postings that you have a kind bone in your body.

Now you have a good day. Maybe a little sunshine will help that warped mind you have, but one day isn't enough you need about a month of sun....

maggie, what classic really meant is it was about his ginger snap..er,snatch...er, yeah, cat. (See why I am saving the eye-rolling ewe for him? )

yes, they did do little red riding hood. I think that was their only other hit song. (This guy would wear a turben getup on stage, all this wild stuff, then he became a preacher (what is it with squeeming r&r'ers that they become preachers later in life?)

lol! no i havent yet, maggie. exciting huh? I will have to wait for a used copy. Havent been into reading so much lately. Go in spurts with it.

I remember back in the 70ties(?) my sister found a softcover paperback rather of the book Marathon Man ontop of her car hood. She was so paranoid for weeks after!!! Who put this on my car??? What's it supposed to mean?? I never saw the movie, just saw dustin hoffman running on the cover. (I was a kid so...)

Nothing ever came of it, and we never figured out how or why it was there.

DBLF... do Maggie a big favor and read the book... I promise you won't be able to put it down.. or look at Da Vinci's "Last Supper" the same ever again... This book is based on fact and theory, not meant to change your religious beliefs, but to make you think and believe me, you will do some powerful thinking... it is really magnificant... the critics are mainly the very devout Christians who fear having their religious foundations shaken. But even if you read it as fiction and purely entertainment, you won't be disappointed.

Classic...splain it to me Ricky...

explained that "Wolly Bully" was the name of his cat and he named the song after his cat.
