So Linda - are you now also stating that you agree that China is a communist country via choice that was put forth in a general election?
Do you happen to have the date of this election? Could you find any actual news reports of it.

Thanks for explaining, Maggie… in all honesty I don’t understand fully what China is proposing either and how they can actually expect everyone to reach agreement on regulations when they can vary so widely. And I admit I still may not be understanding it correctly.
It that IS what got you all fired up....too bad. I have a right to post what I want and how I see things
Linda_K, I've never once said you couldn't post what you want or that I wish to censor you.
But if you make false claims about who or what I support, then I have every right to correct you. Same as I will correct you once again now.... I am not “all fired up” as you are seeing me in your mind. Once again I will remind you that I’m calm and relaxed like I usually am.

BTW Linda - I don't read the pissing contest posts. They bore me and accomplish nothing so they do not have anything to do with my interprtation of Libras comments.
Here are the specific comments I have asked her to back up or clarify
Remember the people of China elect their government just like we do

fenix - I've already stated that since she was being harassed about her statements, she then chose to post carter's statement to clear it up. If that didn't clear it up for you, then that's between you and her....not me. I have never asked anyone here to explain the post of another person. If I have a question or an issue I take it to that person directly.....which is what I will suggest you do.
I think what some of you here appear to overlook, or maybe not understand because you have not been in those shoes, is that when one [usually on on the 'right' side] is asked multiple questions by several different 'lefties' all at the same time....answers will be misconstrued. Just like Libra has already stated..."I was answering/responding to...xxx". I can't remember a time here when a leftie was put in that same situation and had many 'righties' harassing them all at once. And by harassing I mean making statements of things they never said....hopefully to cause the other person to become defensive....rather than to try and clear up any misunderstandings.

Sure you do. But I wasn't making false statements in that post to Libra. Most of you lefties here ARE further left than we are and MANY of the positions you support are EXACTLY the same as the socialist party's. Can't deny those FACTS....no matter how hard you try.

I wasn't talking about your post to Libra63. It was your follow-up calling me ultra-left, your suppositions or insinuations that I supported the socialist and communist party views..... statements such as this one you made:
Maybe you don't want to share your support for communist China's position and let others know that?
MANY of the positions you support are EXACTLY the same as the socialist party's.
Please name those MANY positions for me.

I laugh at you because for some strange reason you don't wish to accept that many statements made here are the same as the socialists party's platform. Deny it all you wish.
I could do as you do and keep repeating I'm a moderate dem....but people who read my posts would be smart enough to know that's not true....from what I post. That's the same with me and how I've formed MY opinion of your posts. I don't see them as being from the 'right' nor the moderate 'left'...but rather from the small minority of ultra-left dems and the socialists that support the democratic party line.
Since it's MY opinion of your previous political statements/positions...you can't and won't be changing that. You don't have control over my opinions kiara....get used to it or put me on ignore..so that when I'm speaking to another poster you don't get so calmly upset. Just as I figured Linda_K, you can’t name MANY of those positions because they don’t exist.
I don’t support the socialist or communist parties.
Like I’ve said before, if I have an opinion I wish to share or if I take a position on something it will be here for all to see.
Your wrong opinions about what you think I believe in don’t count. It's as plain and simple as that.

....has put two DIFFERENT issues together all in one. Won't work though. I was telling fenix I did not include her in the group of those I felt were 'taunting' Libra.
I have stated MANY times and I'm sure you haven't missed it, that imo fenix is a moderate democrat.

You also state above that you have never asked anyone here to explain the post of another person. Yet you seem to have no problem explaining posts of others...... such as my question to Maggie which was immediately answered by you as if you know Maggie's mind.
I don't see where you've answered your own question about the thread topic. Going back over this all I see are your taunts and insults throughout along with orders for others to answer.

Well.....here's tag-along return to say she wasn't confused when she told me to re-read my first post on page two again. Then states that wasn't the post she meant. Okay kiara...if you think that's NOT being confused it just further point out why we have never agreed on anything.
Your pattern is usually to follow helen around agreeing with everything she says....politically or just BS. And you wonder why I judge you to be another ultra-liberal/socialist leaning poster.
And kiara, I wasn't answering for maggie. I was posting my own opinion of why she was thanking you. You posted again and again and again...on everything OTHER than the topic question....which is your most recent MO.

You have profiled me as someone I'm not so all your responses to me are based on that imaginary profile in your mind.
I am a middle of the road, easy going person and when it comes to politics I'm willing to listen and bend my views one way or another depending on the knowledge I gain about a certain issue (and how it relates to the whole picture at the time) and I’ve never supported any one party. I'm certainly nothing like the fired up, ultra-left radical you choose to view me as.
You used to see me the way I truly am, it was just when you found out that I didn't share your
"Bush Love" that you changed your profile of me as ultra-left to suit your agenda here to rage against a select few.

I don't agree kiara. Of course you are free to say how you see yourself....just because I don't agree doesn't mean you can't see yourself that way. And I've never said you can't post even though YOU keep implying I do. You don't appreciate the fact that I don't hold your opinions in high regard. Sorry...I don't. Nor do I with any other person from another country. I'm not one that needs approval from others...nor other countries for the actions my country takes. That doesn't appear to set well with you....but it's not going to change.
And I will repeat what I've said to you before. I have NEVER seen you post anything positive about my country. You continue to make it a 'Bush' issue, when it's not to me. It's all your negativity about what my 'government' does or doesn't do. NOT this President. What I feel you continue to do is 'blame' this President for our 'countries' policies. You can't seem to separate the two. I believe you assume it's because I support President Bush....but it's really not. I am proud of my country, it's form of government, it's military, etc. AND I support most of this President's policies.
And when you USE the deaths of our soldiers to further your anti-Iraq war position....you know I don't like it one bit. And I will 'call' you on it.
To me you're NOT the calm/relaxed person you always claim to be. You're an agitator who enjoys popping into threads to stir things up rather than just share your opinions on the subject. Again....nothing to do with liking/supporting 'Bush'.
On your 'never supported one party'. Don't have to in order for it to be noticed that your views always side with the left...far left. It's the party PLATFORM that I speak of....not that you're a registered dem.
