That's right Double... she did say she was going to get the police involved, so I imagine there will be all night interviews involving lie detectors and spotlights.
I wonder how Twelve reacted when he was caught? Was he packin heat? Maybe there was some kind of take-down and it'll be on tv! I hope Crowfarm doesn't forget to say hi to us all when she's on CNN.

Even if she jumped the gun and accused twelvepole wrongly, this whole situation is terrible. We come here to post our opinions and sure, we all take flack but, we don't come here so someone can be vindictive with our auctions. How childish is that? She has the right to be angry and upset. I know I would be. Instead of giving her suggestions on what to do, you all just jump down her throat. We should all come together on this one. It could happen to any one of us. Well, I see a big chunk of America is alive and well here on the RT.
No, it wasn't wise to post using her eBay ID. However, there was a poster on the EO once that was able to get mine and I don't use my eBay ID. So, any one of us can become a victim. No one here has accused someone of something only to be proven wrong? No one? If truth be told, a lot of us have. Including me.
So, instead of wasting this thread commenting on how wrong CF is, we should be telling each other how we can work to protect our auctions. I thought that came with being part of a "community".
In case you don't know, eBay has added some more bidder blocking options. One allows you to block someone who is bidding on multiple auctions you have up. You can set the number and you can set the feedback number it pertains to. I think that's a good thing. Thought I'd share.

I agree that messing with a person's auctions is a stupid thing to do, but Crowfarm shouldn't have used her selling name to begin with. It's 50/50 the way I see it. It's like publishing your email addy and being shocked if someone emailed you. When you're outspoken like Crowfarm, what do you expect?

it also could have been a 'set up' between two friends who were trying to goad twelve back to the boards.
I thought about that this morning Linda because knowing how much Crowfarm needs attention it seems just like something she'd do and besides, Twelve hasn't been here for quite some time to give her the kind of attention she seeks. Whoops, I bolded your statement as well as italicised it, I hope you're not offended by it, allthough SOME here might be.

I do to Yellow..but the great injustice is being perpetrated against the one who has had her auctions interfered with.imo
I think Crow jumped the gun too but it was a gut reaction, I'm sure when she read the poster's id.. I guess we will not know how this turns out until Crow posts.

Kraft..people insult each other every day here on the RT.. you included..but I would never think of acting out against someone who insulted me. This person has taken Crow's abrasive manner personally and has sought revenge.. don't you see the difference between normal stable people who can argue, rant and rave on a message board and leave it there, from someone who gets so enraged with a complete strangers words, that they would stalk or interfere with her business(auctions).!
To answer your question above.. I would expect people to be stable and secure enough with themselves to not confuse a person ranting and ravings on a message board and turn it into a personal agenda for revenge..that's just not normal.

I wonder how this thread would have gone if the person who created the Ebay user ID of twelvepole666 would have made one up instead that was say, yellowstone666 or linda_k666, classicrock666, bear19666, or what about a different twist like say maggiemuggins666, helenjw666, kiara666, cblev66666?

Maggie, I agree with you that an injustice may been perpetrated against Crowfarm with her auctions but why is it that you can't see and say that an injustice has been perpetrated against twelvepole as well with an accusation against him that was done without any proof??
Cheryl, I just wondered because Twelve isn't and hasn't been here for a while and all that I mentioned are here now or at least in the past couple of days. With that in mind I wonder how severe the accusation would have been. It's just a ponderment, no way to say for sure either way of course.

Yes, bear, I know you're probably right. Her/his pattern, even when presented with the proof of her/his lies...was to still deny it. So why would I expect anything different now.
