Pick your state and click and read.....
https://www.legaldocs.com/htmdocs/livin_st.htm

Except for surrogate. I have never left that word out when talking about a living will. The surrogate mentioned on a living will can change it and only that person.

There is nothing about you that I love. Get over yourself. You are the one challanging and I am the one answering. Search for yourself a form for living wills and you will see what it intales. Don't listen to me as you think I know nothing. My living will states what I want and nobody is going to change that and BTW nobody can.

Libra-For a "Christian" woman, you can be quite nasty. Not once did I say you know nothing--that is not normally my style. I am not attacking you, though you are quite defensive in your answers. If you got that from any of my posts, you may need new glasses. I was trying to get my point across with a *smile*--you know, keep it light. Your response does not even reflect that you read the post. I did not say that you left out the word surrogate. What are you talking about, woman??!! The only point I wanted to make was that Living Wills are not carved in granite, not infallible, not 100% successful (how else can I put this?) with or without surrogates, powers of attorney or your opinion. You can have a living will with instructions, you can have a surrogate or durable power of attorney and most likely your wishes will be respected--BUT NOT WITH 100% CERTAINTY. That is all I was trying to say. By the way, it is quite a relief to know that you love nothing about me. See what you've done. Now I am at your level.

No you are below my level.....
You act like Christians are a plague. They are not.

Libra - kick back and take a breath. I think you may be so used to being attacked that you are seeing attacks where they don't exist. As a third party reading thru this, you are being are being much more defensive than the exchange would require. I didn't see anywhere in here where Coin has attacked you or made the implications that you are seeing.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Your posts are mind-boggling. I have not said anything derogatory about Christians (I am one myself.) Unlike yours, my posts have been respectful and not at all personal. You brought it to that level. Just trying to have a discussion between 2 people who disagree, but you have been nothing but insulting and condescending. What is your problem? Don't think being a good Christian includes believing that another human being is beneath you. How arrogant!

Thanks, fenix3. I actually re-read my posts to see if anything I said would cause such a reaction. That was never my intention. Was worried that the old mind was going

dblfugger, This morning I was in a hurry and I forgot to add the word RADICAL before the words Bible Thumpers. Please see my corrected statement below.

LOL about all the MINORITY MIND SET RIGHT TO LIFE CROWD & RADICAL BIBLE THUMPERS WHEN THEY LOOSE. Some even send out death threats.

They need to realize they are very much a MINORITY IN AMERICA plus they are not getting from their leaders what was promised to them. Oh well people like me tried to tell them. LOL

As for you Cheryl I am Republican and In my 45 years of working I had only 5 jobs.

Good for you. What does that have to do with being a Republican? My dad was a Democrat and held one job his whole life. I haven't had that many jobs. In one job I worked for the attorney, the controller, the treasurer and the accountant. In another I worked for the commercial lending department president and the investment broker. In another, I worked for the union and the union newspaper. Let's see, that's three jobs. There 's the one I have now where I work closely with a doctor. That's four. There were a couple more. And, I didn't only work for Dennis. I've worked on a presidential campaign (Kerry), a congressional campaign (Dennis) and now a senatorial campaign (Dale Miller). How did you show your blindly loyal support for your candidate?

Cherished

Going to school and holding down a part time job is having two jobs. It's probably tougher than holding down two part time jobs! I don't know how people do that, school and work, that is. I admire you for it. I'm beat after working and studying is the last thing on my mind.

I think it's about time to put this topic to rest. The Pope is in very grave condition and I think people should be thinking about him right now. I'm not Catholic, however, I do admire the man and think he's a great humanitarian even though I don't agree with a lot of things the Catholic church teaches.

Edited to add: Coincoach, you'll have to excuse her. She learned everything she knows about arguing on this board from Linda. You haven't said anything that remotely attacks anyone personally.

Cheryl you are the one who brought it up.
[I] I come from a long line of hard workers. No job lasted less than two years. Most more than three. Two were lay-offs - in 2000 and 2001. Hmmm, wonder who was president then

I was just trying to tell you that I have had steady work with both Republican and Democratic Presidents. You were telling me that because Bush was president you got laid off. Or did I read that wrong... (Now I typed this with a soft touch)

You know where you can put that pill Kiara.
(That was not typed with a soft touch.) You can always depend on Kiara to add that personal touch that she is always itching to do. Then her clone the cheerleader comes in a scratches her back.

I do not feel I was nasty. Just stating my point and knowing what I believe in is true. I tried to tell coin that because this Mr. king couldn't speak Ann stepped in and the reason they took her word for it was because she was a surrogate. They wouldn't have taken her word for it if she wasn't (the surrogate). Does that explain it?

Libra63, lighten up! I was only wanting to get a smile out of you as you've been crabby for months now.

Coincoach was being very nice to you but you can't even see things clearly anymore so you're attacking almost everyone that talks to you.
