powermall:
Good wishes to you on your new venture.
This may be a personal thing with me, but I question the care and sophistication of any "company" who doesn't care enough to spell check their messages before they post them. This is certainly not a good way to initially present yourself.

Powermall's posts seem fine to me? I'm confused about that part of the last post about spell checking.

Do a mouse over on what is currently in the sig line and what you gave him and you will see it goes no where. The corrected one is above.

powermall,
"honest business"?
Why don't you tell everyone who you are and who your former employer was?
Sorry, but your reputation precedes you.

toollady, Since my former employer and I do not see eye to eye and they are not allowed to be mentioned here they should have no reason to be brought into the conversation. The past is the past and I have learned a lot since working there.
lanefamily, Thanks
JWPC I did not know how to make it clickable and was following instructions from above so I will go to fix it now.

Things have changed around here since GT and company have spammed the boards.
See, I can post BidBay and won't be struck by lightning!
Your hype sounds like a page out of GT's book of marketing. Oh, that's right, you helped write it.

dman,
Read the hype. It's the same horse hockey GT has been spewing.
10 million hit campaign, where have I heard that one before?
They have investors, have more investors interested, yada, yada.
Well, the money that has been received from investors should be used to purchase a spell checker for the site. It's the most unprofessional thing in the world to have typos and grammatical errors on a site you are wanting people to spend their hard earned money on.
There is a page on the site that states the following:
Business Finance Link from homepage
E-Z-Biz-Marketing is a Consulting Firm specializing in the development of emerging growth companies. We have an array of financial programs available to help alleviate cash flow problems and expansion needs for both small and large businesses. See the companies below that we are affiliated with.
(BTW, there are no companies listed)
If that is the case, then why are they courting investors? Something is seriously wrong with this picture.

Sounds like MLM.

toollady,
I have a company building the site for me and yes we have gone round and round about the spelling errors as well as all of tghe other glitches on the site. As for the financial comment and getting investors, they are 2 totally different things. Investors put money into a company with the hopes of making money and the financial programs are loans. We promote companies and their services and provide the avenues for affordable advertising.

The power team is a business opportunity. Yes it is technically MLM but they prefer to be called an opportunity. The company actually has a lot of products that are awesome. I have trying them out and they work better then described.

"PLONK" means that the person and/or idea being "PLONKED" has zero merit or credibility, and warrants no further attention.
An example is:
"I PLONKED the troll in the newsgroup"
or ...
"I PLONKED that vile SPAMMER who has been sending me all those free university degrees and dick enlargers"
(you do know what a SPAMMER is, right?)

plonk excl.,vt.
[Usenet: possibly influenced by British slang `plonk' for cheap booze, or `plonker' for someone behaving stupidly (latter is lit. equivalent to Yiddish `schmuck')] The sound a newbie makes as he falls to the bottom of a kill file. While it originated in the newsgroup talk.bizarre, this term (usually written "*plonk*" is now (1994) widespread on Usenet as a form of public ridicule
