Imo, only if one seeks it from outside sources, rather than from within themself. If we sit around waiting for someone else to make us happy, or think we'll be happy if we only had this or that....those people will probably never find happiness.
We choose to be happy or angry...no one 'makes' us that way. It's how we react to our surroundings.
And I don't know who you 'hang' with, KD, but the people around me who drink don't get angry/mad at all. Maybe it's because they choose to drink in moderation??

I think that's a regional thing. I've noticed that in the south people tend to be more patient and more willing to take their time. In the north, we have a tendency to rush things. People drive faster, walk faster, talk faster. I think it causes us to lose a lot on the social side of things. I've never been on the west coast so I can't make a comparison there. When I was in Texas people seemed so nice and relaxed. I'm willing to bet that people living in the southern states don't suffer nearly the number of tension headaches those of us up north do.
when people get drunk, they usually get angry before they pass out.
Fortunately, I learned to distance myself from these people a long time ago. My husband used to get angry when he got drunk. Alcohol usually does one of three things: makes you happy and uninhibited, makes you extremely sad and emotional or makes you angry. Most of the people I now socialize with limit their drinking and if by chance they do get drunk, they're usually silly, happy drunks.
I guess what makes you happy is very individualized. A bright, warm sunny day does it for me. When you live up north, you don't take those days for granted. It's May and we're still cold.

well, did they not say dont eat a big lunch as you will feel sleepy afterwards?
as the blood rushes down from brain to stomach to help with digestion??
for me,it seems exercise helps with digestion as it helps to move the stuff from stomach to the intestines!
