Apples and oranges maggimuggins, an accident is not just deciding.
I would have to have that happen to make that decision.
Sex is part of a marriage and if one part is failing without a good reason, then why keep the whole? Emotional love does not last without the physical. Especially for most men.

How much time to you have? There are thousands of reasons marriages stay together when the sexual attraction has long since faded away. One only needs to look at the very long term marriages to see just that.
Emotional love does not last without the physical.
I couldn't disagree more with that statement. Strikes me as coming from a young man....one who has not experienced a long-term, loving marriage yet.
Especially for most men. Agreed men are usually more sexual than most women. But when speaking of emotional love....I'm around too many retired folks to believe that to be true in the majority of marriages I have experienced in my lifetime.

Was that just another double post, Crowfarm or are you just not willing to address my post on clinical reasons for some womens lack of being able to have an orgasm and the effect it has on them.

Husband comes into the house, picturing and smelling his Mother's homemade apple pie. His wife, standing there drinking coffee continues calling out his name....but he's still picturing his mama's homemade pie. Then the camera focuses onto the little room scented air-freshener.
No homemade pie for him.....but his wife is skinny.

Maggie, I agree with you. Sex is overrated. It's on every show, commercial, movie, etc. If you read any magazines that have sex articles, they always talk about how women can be sexier for "their man" by wearing stupid clothes, lighting a bunch of candles, and all that crap. I don't see any articles on how men can put forth a little effort to make themselves appealing (ie: forgetting the remote for one night, making a nice dinner after Cheryl & I get home from Rocket Science School, talking about world events, etc.)

On the articles....men don't read magazines/books like that....they supposedly 'read' the articles in the "picture books"...like playboy, hustler, etc They don't print those type of self-help articles for men in those.
I agree men shouldn't quit 'romancing' women if they want them to STAY interested, sexually. Just as men don't want women to 'let themselves go'...it shouldn't be any different for men to maintain the same physical shape they had in the beginning. Same applies to the things they used when wooing the woman in the first place.
I laugh when I picture the beer-bellied man, unshaven, unbathed for who knows how long, remote in hand all weekend...who just can't understand why the 'little lady' isn't interested when they hit the sack. DUH

well....the dudes writing those articles come in here and read what you,maggie,crow,helen and kiara write about world events and realize how dumb you are,figure the only thing you CAN do is light a candle....just my humble opinon of course.

It's OK Classic. Most insecure men are threatened by us intelligent beauties. You're not the first but it always ends up the same. In the beginning, the guys try the competitive male/female "who's smarter" thing. When that doesn't work, they announce they're smarter. When that doesn't work, they start talking about bj's and how much sex they're getting to try and compensate for the fact they were never smart enough to have a conversation with any of us in the first place. Same old, same old.

Classic, the men who don't understand those of higher intellect like us ladies you mentioned usually can't think beyond a lighted candle either.
