We have identified an issue with the Save As function within Sales Manager Pro versions 6.0 and 6.0.1.
SYMPTOMS:
- When, after you have saved a batch, you find the batch file empty or missing items
CAUSE:
- The Save As function does not work properly when you attempt to save as an existing file name.
RESOLUTION:
- Always create a new file name with the Save As function, or use the Save function instead.
- If you have an empty batch that was initially created in an older version of Sales Manager Pro, you may be able to recover the batch from a backup created during the upgrade process. To recover a backup copy of a batch:
* Use Windows Explorer to navigate to your batch file directory. Default is \Program Files\Vendio\batches.
* Look for any backup batch files by their unique file extension .bck
* If you find a backup copy of your batch, you should first copy the file, then remove the .bck extension of the copy. This will make it recognizable by Sales Manager Pro.
* Open Sales Manager Pro and look for the file you just renamed.
UPDATE AVAILABILITY:
- We are currently working to address this issue, and will release a new product update within the next few days.
- We will alert all users when the update is available.

You should still be able to work with Pro - just don't use the 'save as' function with an existing file. Let us know your workflow and we'll let you know how to work around it (we should be releasing a fix for this within the next couple days.)

I received an email in my customer manager inbox here at Vendio regarding an update for SMPro. I went to the link provided and it is not working - I got an error message that it was not complete or executeable - something to that effect.
I am not very comfortable relying on emails with links, regardless from whom they come. Would it be possible to post an Annoucement with a link with the update is complete?
Thank you!

Sorry to hear you had trouble with the link. Not sure why the link didn't work since we tested the email before sending. But I have posted a general announcement as you requested. Let us know if you have any more trouble.
