The most vocal on this thread are the two that live in a different country try to tell us how they support our troops. They don't live here, they only have access to the news papers that are liberal. They need to see the perspective of the people in contact with the service men everyday.
Do you have the guts to name those two, Libra63?

I do...it's kiara and KD...who live in Canada and have watched the 'rusting away' of their own armed forces.
You're our liberal 'peace flowers' from the 60's..maybe 70's who haven't gotten past that phase in life yet.
In your rose-colored glass....we can have peace by just being nicer to the terrorists....talk it out....admit what we've done wrong, how we've hurt the Muslims/Arabs...let them know we were wrong and ask to be forgiven.
Then, and only then will we EVER be able to obtain world peace.
The UN is our leader...follow them and only good things will come to the US.
All the countries in the world will come to LOVE the US if we just do what THEY think we should do. Screw the fact that we fought for our independence from England....give it up....going the league of nations....after all...the US is no better than any other country in the world. We might think we are....but we're not.

KD - If a soldier honestly believes they need their moral boosted by only people that agree with the war, then you sure are making them all look like a bunch of dummies, Linda.
What a soldier would like to see is support from the country that sent them off to war. Which in our case was our country.
But what you're not getting is NOT that they expect all to agree with them...but rather that they don't have to fight a war, and be fighting against [taking HITS from] their own countrymen too. ie: MSM or liberals who keep blaming them for every accusation that is put on their shoulders. Believing what the enemies say...rather than giving them the benefit of the doubt until it's proven, at least.

I'll then add that EVERY accusation world organization like Amnesty International accuse the US of doing you agree with. AGainst your own country's actions but in agreement with 'the world'.

Totally clueless as to which side of the border I live on during any part of the year, doesn't know my age or who I associate with or anything about me.

it really shouldn't be hard to find ONE where you've agreed with something our country has done....or ONE where you have previous shown your support for our soldiers.

kira, its nice to be able to live in both the U.S. and Canada and move back and forth when you want. I lived outside of Windsor for a couple years and really enjoyed drinking that good Canadian beer with a nice bunch of people. Do they still play (Oh Canada) before a movie starts
About the "L" sisters, I get the biggest kick that just a few short months ago both the "L" sisters were both bragging and riding high about Bush.
Now we all see what real hate is from Linda_K. About Libra well she is just Libra.
I sure am glad I didn't vote for Bush or I would be feeling as bad as the "L" sisters are these days.

Bigpeepa, I don't ever remember Oh Canada before a movie started. But yes, I think I have the best of both worlds as the US and Canada have wonderful people..... who also have the freedom to speak their views on all issues.
I don't understand the ones here that rage so bitterly against us for being the individuals we are, with our own thoughts and beliefs. If they are an example of what they want me to become...... no thanks.

I just laugh at your "take" on my support for my country...my belief that it is the GREATEST Nation on the face of this earth - warts and all. That, imo, every citizen in my country should appreciate what our Armed Forces have always done and continue to do....protect our Nation....fight for freedom ...and Liberty for all. And in the 1960's the dem party used to stand for those values too. They no longer do, imo.
