dblfugger9, you don’t know what my living situation is as you know very little about me so you can ‘whatever’ all over the board about my life.... you only make yourself look silly.
I said I disagreed with the US going to war with Iraq. I’ve never discussed the health system, social security or many other topics about the US because I like most aspects of life in the US. Everyone I know on both sides of the border can banter back and forth about Canada and the US and most take it in fun. Each country has good and bad points and most intelligent people realize that. Same as most people up in Canada realize that there are faults with their health care system.
It seems to make some here insecure and squirmy and they feel threatened by those who speak from life experiences and actual knowledge.
Maggie, I think there’s a new rule here now……
Don’t pick on the elderly!

I said I didn't discuss the health care system in the US. Nor have I been critical of it.
Of course I talked about the one in Canada because you had 'googled' wrong info and you reported it as if you knew what you were talking about and you didn't.... I corrected it with actual facts from life experience and knowledge.

LOL kiara...I'm not going to waste my time addressing all the 'twisting' you come up with.
But maybe you'd like to show all of us just where this recent SC ruling and then fact it allows citizens to get their own private health care...AND the reasons THEY stated....is a googled LIE.
As with as much you misrepresent....like all the accepted studies done...you disagree with them. You're right to your own opinion...but you're only one person...and you don't speak for all 31 million Canadians that also want to be hear on how THEY feel about not getting 'basic care'. Not being allowed to get private insurance when they wish to.
So...you going to say that this SC ruling is a false google...lie or misrepresentation? I don't think so. Not unless you wish to appear more foolish than normal.

Well the one the thing you have the courage to disclose to this board is you live in Canada or whatever so dont here we go again with the you dont know anything about my life schpiel. We've heard it all before,and do you have any idea how fn boring you are????

Please cease and desist posting any further
information about Canada.. the country you are citizens of..as Lindak has made it clear that she won't stand for you spreading those awful lies about just how fine a country it is up there.. and she has made it sufficiently clear to all that she, in fact knows more than any old citizen of Canada, on just about any topic pertaining to Canada, it's people, government, health care or whatever..
And furthermore, she also insists that you should also cease and desist in posting any opinions, thoughts or views on the USA.. since she is the only person here who knows anything pertaining to the USA..and therefore is the only one qualified to speak on behalf of the USA.

Thanks Maggie. I will look into it. No he only told me how he saw a purple people eater on aol and got real scared and came running back here. lol.
Man, I am so excited!! I went to a garage sale today and I got tons of books for 50 cents each. Even did think of you maggie today (funny you mention that about books) how you stated you like hardbacks and there were quite a few, and relatively new ones too. Guess what else I found!? My most favorite treasure! I am not even sure I will look to sell these. Kukui Nuts of Hawaii, earrings!!! lol!!! The hawaiian gem that grows on trees!Gleaming ebony black kalakoa from the kukui tree. The lady told me she got these in hawaii about 15-20 years ago. So lol she figured they might just be an antique about now! They're (these nuts) are on a hoop earring! So of course I am totally impressed with them! lol!!

I think you should just start telling their Prime Minister how he should run the country..
you might suggest he begin by fixing his health care system, and should start by replicating the wonderful health care system of ours here in the US...
Tell him about all the money he will save this way, by only having to worry about providing adequate care for those who can afford to pay..
If he balks at such a suggestion.. remind him that his country only exists through the grace and goodwill and protection of big brother the USA. a little bullying goes a long way..

I may have some of those author's books you mentioned. I am not big on following authors or even most times making a big mental note of who it is. I go more by if I think a story sounds interesting I will read it, or if somebody recommends it, kind of thing.
