amal,
I couldn't see it on my computer. Copy the code and put it in your address of your browser. This will take you to the logo.
It's a great one. Kelly

Speaking of Paypal Logos and Ebay: Ebay had a policy that a banner had to be a certain size. PayPal's current logo's are very large, and the gold one is huge. Does ebay allow these or not?

I don't see it. I see a graphic called tosviol.gif. I don't think XOOM allows you to link to graphics from outside their server.

LOL! Can we copy it?

Yes!
Feel free to copy it and show it to your eBay friends.
I was trying to make a serious logo to insert into my auctions, but I got a little carried away
I am still trying to design a serious logo, so if you have any suggestions for one that can be placed in auctions, please let me know. Granted, the logo can not be slanderish or too harsh, but I do want to get my point across to buyers who still support PayPal.
Also, sorry about the confusion earlier with the image not showing up.
Thanks!
Jay

The reactions to PayPal's business accounts has really separated the men from the boys. Cancel your account, upgrade your account, or take a wait and see attitude but deal with it and move on!

Hey! Thats GREAT!!! Be VERY careful, though.
I have been crafting up a logo of my own, and wanted to put it on my site, but decided to check out the fine print at PayPal and found some language about tampering with a PayPal logo or saying anything bad about PayPal using thier logo. They don't take kindly to this, and just watch your backs as far as lawsuits from those beasts. Looks like they'll be taking a big enough cut of our profits now, without giving them the whole pie! But, Im still going to tread those dangerous waters and state my case against PayPal in my auction pages... I suspect a goodly number of us will be doing so. Buyers will catch on fast.

Very Funny! I have found a decrease in my PayPal payments recently - most are paying by check and money order again even though I do accept PayPal.

EbayQuestions
is there anywhere where we can create these types of logos Online?
What I can see, is that these are 3 different graphics, but are enchaned so looks like it's a real GIF Can you point us where we can create something like that. I would really like to create something like:
First Graphic: My user ID
Second Graphic: 1-800-XXX-XXXX
Third Graphic: My web address
I think this will help us a lot.
Thank you.
Poton.

Microsoft offers a free utility for making animated GIFs. It's called GIF Animator. Very easy to use, just drag and drop your images, then set time and looping options.
ftp://ftp.euro.net/d6/winsock-l/Windows95/Graphics/gifsetup.exe
Let's see what you can come up with!

swampything:
I think that PayPal would only be able to object to someone who altered one of their logos. This logo was completely made with my software, and is not slandering the company in any way. I have simply summed up many of our feelings into a few words and put it in my logo/image.
Facts:
1.) We made them big by referring people to them.
2.) They lied about free to sellers forever.
3.) There is nothing we can do about it accept quit accepting credit cards or just grin and bear it.
4.) In my opinion, I was shafted.
These are all stated in the logo.
Writing it in a logo is no different than others writing it on this forum.

Here's an easy one:
BTW, maybe Paypal can enforce that rule on members. Anyone else can claim "fair use." Happens all the time.

I love it, maybe we should put it in all our e-mails to our winners. I received more Yahooo PayDirect payments today than PayPal, Yeah!!!! And I am sure more will use Billpoint aftert the fees go down October 1. Never thought I would be rooting for Billpoint over PayPal.

Actually they may be taking your profits but they won't be taking mine as soon as I can get all their logo's off my auctions on Yahoo I am through with them. Ebay was easy I just don't add them. I have been thinking about adding to my auctions something like toomanycomics logo so that people don't ask will you take paypal.
Of course I will take Paydirect and most likley billpoint. It is not the fees that bother me with paypal it is the way they did it and then tried to make the sellers look like scum saying we weren't playing fair and upgrading when we should have.
