Maybe some sellers are beginning to list on your site because you advertise instead of their regular site which doesn't? It pays to advertise. What percentage of the items on TNA are sportscards?

barncards1,
Are you doing this because you think they are good or are you getting paid for this?

Are the last set of numbers inaccurate due to your other posts of a glitch in your system causing duplicate listings?

Which, with all due respect to JB and Beach, is why these basement on-line auction venue starters should find something else to do with their time
I mean, it's bad enough that there is a huge glut of these venues, but even worse when new ones pop up that are so full of glitches that possible new members just say to he11 with it.

It is unfortunate that this happened at this time, but computer glitches can happen to anyone no matter the venue...
The problem is being worked on and the members have been most patient and that is greatly appreciated.

Hi Beach ...
Is this the 2nd glitch in the last week? There was also a problem with the TNA Community Boards which required every member to re-register.
I don't see these as computer problems, but rather poor selection of software.
I'm keep my eye on your venue and when it is stable, I will be there
Keep up the great efforts eh ...

RB...it wasn't really a computer glitch with the community. The one we had was running slow and when it was replaced, that's when the memebers had to re-register. None of them complained and the new one is much faster and works great. Come on by and give it a try when ya get the chance.

Some people just do not like the registration process. Many people create a new email for each registration. That is getting more difficult to do as the free email services tighten up the requirements of opening and maintaining an email account, especially Yahoo.

Hi robertsmithson:
I have been running online message boards or sales boards as a hobby for a few days now. Just to date myself I started with a Cnet BBS on a Commodore 128. I later upgraded the Cnet board when it became available for the Amiga 500. After awhile the local BBS boards started to decline as more and more people jumped to the internet so I joined them by buying a hated PC and I also moved to the internet. I put up web pages, joined auction sites, message boards and what ever else I could join.
I am rambling here a little but I did want to date myself and point out that in all those years I only used My main ISP email address and that off my backup service. For the life of me I could never figure out why people needed dozens of different email ID's , could you or someone explain that to me please. I guess with each year I put on I get a little more dense.

Hi barncards1:
I didn't mean to derail your thread here but when I saw the post about not wanting to register at a site because of the lack of free email ID's it got me curious.
Hope the problems with TNA are under control again. I know what a headache those nasty little bugs can be.

Hi Romahawk ...
It's not so much the availability of free email accounts (I use the same one for all non-personal type stuff), but more trying to remember all the idiot passwords that are needed to register these days.
When I registered at TNA, I racked my brain trying to come up with a password that I would remember ... don't think I want to do that again

I can tell you why in one word. Spam. The site owners always promise that your enail address will never be sold or used on mailing lists but that promise rarely comes true. TNA is notorious for sending spam emails. It's on the BV message boards on a thread or two.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TNA does NOT send SPAM: Now if you can show me one that did come from there please show me.
Oh an one other thing. I don't know how to sell it or who too sell it to and could care less. We NEVER will sell any members email from there.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
RB So we got a new board, sign up your pass word will never be seen even by me. That is why your not there if I could have gotten the pass words I would have signed ya up my self.

Okay TNA is not notorious for sending SPAM, John Barnes is. Often the abundant misspelling in the SPAM is a dead giveaway. Please stop doing that John Barnes.

Hi Kodi ... it was around 17:00 (AW time) ... right before I posted here. I tried a couple of times and my ISP timer timed out both times. All other sites were working so I may have hit a slow connection.
Hi Beach ... Could be ... I'll try again today
caff ... congrats! You have just made my ignore list. Now you can rant and rave about Canadians all you want. btw, this type of comment only makes you look like an idiot, so be my guest. I'm sure if you go completely over the top (like a couple of other insulters did here), you will be dealt with the same way they were

RB is correct. TNA was down for a few minutes yesterday. I tried to list some auctions. As a matter of fact it has been down a few times here recently. Gonna have to find the glitch and get it fixed. Hillbilly

I was able to post part 2 of my joke, at least I think I was. I typed it in, hit reply then my PC froze. I rebooted and when I want back to the TNA site to see if posted OK, I got the "it doesn't exist, contact Microsoft ( or something like that! )" error.
Maybe the fun of TNA will be trying to figue out when it will be working and when it won't. That's gotta hurt those who find something they want, place a bid, and watch the system lock

I have never had any trouble loging on to TNA. I don't know what is wrong with the computer you use or the ISP. I have always found that I could log on.
Thanks Davey
