After suffering for over a year with my ViviCam 3000, I finally went over to the Sony Outlet in Lake Elsinore and they've marked down the FD-73's to $299. The only bad part is there are only a handful of Sony Outlets across the country (only 2 in California.)
These $299 mark downs are either new with a damaged box, or refurbished in a new box. If you plan on keeping it, who cares about the box?
I stopped at Best Buys on the way home and the same camera new was listed at $499. I don't think the box was worth $200!

Wow, I'm about 45 minutes away from Lake Elsinore... maybe I should plan a little trip down there. Might be worth $200 or so!
