Red - If you go to the Round Table index page you can select the period of time you want to be able to browse thru up to the past year.
Twelve was a classic. Forever and a day he swore that he had a wonderful little asian wife that obeyed his every order and fulfilled his every whim. Eventually he admitted that this was not quite true. Then there was his extremism. There was no topic tha he did not take the most extreme negative (oops, I mean conservative ) stance on. In his exit manifesto he admitted that the whole thing was a farse. Personally I think he found his asian dream girl and just didn't have time for us anymore.

Red..Twelve was a cruel bugger when he wanted to be, I know because I was one that he couldn't stand and I was often on the receiving end of his attacks... Wow, okay, so this guy obviously made an impression. Is there a way to search for posts by an individual poster? Although I suspect that I probably don't need to actually see any of his posts as you all have painted a fairly vivid picture. I'm just curious now, mostly about his exit manifesto. I find exit manifestos to be hilarious. I haven't actually seen one here yet but it seems that every message board gets them. The psychology behind the exit manifesto, which I suspect is similiar to the psychology behind announcing you are ignoring someone, is always interesting.

I read the manifesto but its obviously difficult for me to grasp the context of his personal messages to everyone. But then he came back a few weeks later only to, I assume, leave again. Was there a second manifesto?

Skimming through some of these past threads has given me an idea. I'll leave it to you guys and gals to tell me if its a good or bad one.
I'm a big fan of the show Survivor. Usually when it gets down to the final two contestants, they have a segment when the final two walk through a sort of memory lane and get a chance to say a few words about the fallen contestants.
So I was thinking it might be fun to do that kind of thing here, as a way for some of you to remember people who have been a part of this community and then as a way I could learn a little of the history. Reading old threads is certainly one way to learn history but whats more interesting? Reading a history book or talking to someone who lived through it?

Helen, I just read through those links. That manifesto and the threads surrounding it are something else. I admit to being a little confused about all the accusations of multiple ID's and who was who but there were some very interesting posts in there. plsmith's detailed character analysis of nycyn was about as intense of an analysis as I've seen on a message board. I think I would have liked to know nycyn, plsmith and a few others from those threads. Thanks for sharing that.

linda, your paranoia about edits is really strange since your posts are filled with them. When I see an edit, I think that the poster probably corrected a spelling mistake or error in grammar or ubb code. You apparently suffer from a delusion that my edits are sinister and that's your problem linda, not mine. As far as editing the entire post, I can do that also for a number of reasons as innocuous as the fact that I might reconsider my comment as silly, dumb or irrelevant...whatever.
Knowing you, you will now call me a liar because I forgot editing my entire post not just once but hot dam, twice in the past several years! Only you can find some peculiar significance in that.
