Hi all, I haven't been following the threads and just picked the first one on top to report in on.
I am still in NC with my daughter and Mr. Muggins is in Texas where he went to escape the hurricane.
We have been unable to get any contact with anyone in our town.. except on the day of the hurricane, I got through to the Police station for a couple of minutes.. They couldn't tell me anything because they were unable to get out and around themselves at that time.. only said that the eye of the hurricane was going to pass directly over our town later that day. The next larger town near us is under water and they are not allowing anyone to return to our area or the coast and New Orleans... the devastation from what we have seen on the news and heard from others is unimaginable..
We are not expecting to find a home when we return, I have not been able to contact the boarder about my big dog...all the lines are down and cells won't work.. in the area.
Because we were not told the week before that the hurricane was going to come our way, in fact they said less than a 10% chance, I left for NC with just a suitcase of clothes .. so if the house is destroyed I will have lost everything except the most important things our lives..if it isn't totally destroyed I'm afraid that more damage will continue with rain etc..until we can get in to do something about it..
Sorry for the long ramble.. as you can imagine I am stressed to the max...will keep you posted as I learn more.. Maggie

Dble - I gotta admit, I'm curious. You say that other do not lead they only follow but why is it that for the past few days you have done little on these boards than follow me and comment on my comments. I'm not quite sure what you fascination is with my life and my board contributions are but I really think you need a new hobby.

I hope that you find everything OK, Maggie! Right now, nearly everyone that I was able to call is without electricity as far north as Jackson.

Are you talking to me, Red, Etex or someone else. If you're talking to me then yes i play the guitar but in a style similar to Eric Clapton. If to Red then it's in the style of Jimmy Hendrix and if it's to Etex then it's gotta be in the style of that little old band from Texas, ZZ-Top.
Actually, i really don't play the guitar, i just build them in my wood shop. I just said that i did to confuse the lefties that think i have mutiple id's.

Thanks for the pictures, I also think that things are better than before but not as good as they could/should be yet.
They also have Keylime Almond Joy - Not sure if anyone needs 24 Key Lime Almond Joy but they aare good.
