Ron, it'a all going to the dump in the cleanup and written off as an insurance loss and yes you can put a dollar amount on what shouldn't be taken.
These people are no better than the ones that will start popping up with triple/quadruple prices on basic necessities.
I really doubt that and if you think about it you'd see that statement as being really rediculous(sp) like theses people who have lost everything have huge protected warehouses or stores put away for a trajedy, just so they can profit from it???

If you actually have to defend a President who was on a month long vacation during wartime, and couldn't get off of his lazy butt until two days after the worst national disaster in American history, then you obviously need your head checked. He should have been in Washington last weekend making all of the necessary preparations for this disaster and had plans for an immediate visit to the area that was hit. Instead he has hid on his ranch afraid of a few protesters.

Recently I saw a special on public television about the likelihood of a major flood caused by a storm hitting NO's.
Scientists considered it inevitable and pointed out that we would be unable to deal with it.
With regard to insurance there is none for riots or acts of civil disobedience (i.e. looting) nor is there any should it be determined that the flooding was not an act of God but rather a failure to respond by public officials. Watch the legal maneuvers of the insurers as they weasel out from under.

And I believe those city officials should be held accountable for most of this destruction.
It's been noted for years and years that their levees were sinking and about all the sections that were beginning to fail. And that's exactly why they're experiencing the total destruction they are...because the levees gave way and all that water came flooding in. That is the responsibility of the elected officials in that state to maintain that protection and they didn't.

Oh, no.... I got it alright. Linda trying to crack a joke at the expense of the hundreds, if not thousands of lives that will be lost because this President used resources for a war based on lies. It is shameful enough for someone to do it, and it is even more shameful for someone to support this behavior. I am sure Linda wouldn't find that joke very funny if it was at the loss of her property, a family members life, etc. She has proven her insensitivity many times, and for this I have absolutely no reason not to have Open Hunting Season on Linda's head. Well, it really doesn't take too much intelligence to see that you were pulling resources and security away that is in place to protect our homeland against...natural disasters.
