Bunnicula

The mistake I made, I realized while watching House (that is now over)

I (and probably others, not necessarily 'neo cons' only) read that quote and it did 'sound' like This Country; America; the U.S.

I do apologize for the mistake, she meant, Iraq in the quote 'this country is not worth fighting for'

You have corrected me yet again, and my mistake will be there , I will not edit it.

You may be right about a lot of things, but not in calling me a neo con

Thank you for catching that blunder.

One thing for sure, should we pull out of Iraq, Sheehan, bunnicula and everyone else in this Country, will need more than rolling pins to survive what the terrorist have planned.

Of course we can't just pull out at a moment's notice.

In fact, we're liable to be there for several more years.

No, we're going to be stuck with the cess-pit Bush created for a long while, I'm afraid. Stuck cleaning up his mess. But then, what can you expect with a congenital idiot as a "leader"?

Bunnicula, she did not say Iraq along with the statement. Last I looked people were allowed to have their own opinions.

Near you have nothing to apologize for, those statements are open for interpretation. Sheehan ,as per the left credo, doesn't speak clearly.

So the right lies and the left is unclear some choice.

::fenix, I know. But do we really know everything that is on those daily classified briefings? no, and I'm sure we probably wouldn't want to know.::

Well, we now know that Bush went into the first of them and told people to find a way to connect it to Iraq so that he could invade but no one could. We also know that even Bush has stated that Iraq was not involved on 9/11 of course he didn't say that until after we had invaded when 70% of the country had been mislead to believe that they had.

(Here's a scary one...in a poll, over half the people polled also believed that some of the hijackers were Iraqi...none were)

::My own opinion.. No, I don't think he had anything to do with it directly, but he sure was not upset a bit when those planes hit those towers. IIRC, he and the Iraqis were celebrating, them and the Palestinians.::

I don't disagree, but I think "Because they don't like us" might not be the best reason to spend billions of dollars, lose thousands of lives and involve ourselves in a long war. Besides, 9/11 isn't why we went there remember? It was because of those WOMD that Rumsfeld told everyone we knew the exact location of but never managed to find.

"Pavlov and his dogs had nothing on the neocon spinmasters."

So true! Their target's ablility to recognize truth has been totally extinguished.

Ron, I think I do, I may have misled people that the quote from Sheehan was made to look anti American. The quote was about Iraq, and I was called on it. I can be wrong, and admit to it.

Sorry, Near--I was referring to Neocons, not to you specifically. They are so loud, and make sure to repeat things like this at every opportunity that even non-neocons can be affected by them. Iraq is a case in point: Bush & Co. were constantly on TV, the radio & in newspapers deliberately putting "9-11" & "Iraq" in the same sentence, and it had the effect they wanted. There are lots of folks who even believe that there were Iraqis on those planes! The brainwashing has been so complete that some are simply unable to separate "9-11" and "Iraq" in their minds.
