I'm sort of figuring that next group who will get TOS'd by ebay will prob be the sellers of Rated M Video Games. About 10 countries have banned those, including the whiny eurotrash. So Ebay will have to be a "good corporate citizen".

Looks to me like this is a compromise eBay struck with Disney. I also suspect this is another policy that will never be enforced. eBay will say anything (to Disney) to get their money.

I read this as a ban on hard and soft core porn, and even much erotica. I have been chatting with the folks at SmoothSale.Com, and they would be happy for the displaced sellers to move there - even promising a search engine. If any adult seller folks are interested, I can get you phone numbers of the people to talk to there, will even help coordinate a move for you.

Disclaimer - I do not currently have a business relationship with SmoothSale, but am so impressed with what I have seen that I am seriously considering one. I tallked to them about the adult categories in regards to my projects with Million Auction March.

Please feel free to email me if I can assist in any way to help facilitate a move to a site that will welcome you - rather than cast you out like dirty laundry that they no longer need! Amazing how ebaY was willing and happy to take the money from this group for so many years, but now that they feel they don't need them anymore, are willing to toss them out!!! -Rosalinda

Twinsoft... good call there... I had forgotten about the two ton mouse. I did figure it was some group putting pressure on ebay. When ebay says "community" its means investors.

avaloncourt -
Me? Deliberately write a double entendre with salacious overtones? I'm shocked you would think that.

Damn this takes out all the fun of visiting the adult section. This is the death nail for adult sellers.

Crystalline Sliver,

As we strictly prohibit pornography in our
User Agreement, a link to an adult site would be considered inappropriate.
