If the UK isn't down, you can go there.http://www.ebay.co.uk
If you search from the UK site select "any country" or you will only get items listed in the UK.

I guess I will get credits all this week. I have started to include "Please place a proxy bid now in case eBay is down at close of auction".
I had some bidders email me that they missed out on my auction because of the outages. I told them to place proxy.
Could this be a cure for the cursed Watch feature. Maybe bidders will now bid early.

You know I am getting pretty tired of all the freaking breakdowns too. I can't relist & the seller page is down. What's the deal with this. Hey I don't gripe a lot as you may know but even my patience is running thin.
Friggin pric*#. I am totally pissed right now.

Must be very crowded tonite. I can't even see the third page. Is it only me who keeps seeing PAGE CANNOT LOAD when I click view my other auctions?
I have shut down all I can. And I will not go thru this again. It is neither worth my time, energy or effort. That's it from my corner of the East Coast. Maybe someone will respond but as of now, I can't get into view the posts here.
I never had this particular page display before. It happened after I listed new auctions with the new "options" package. It's a lot of time wasted so someone might buy into the idea of adding a few more bells and whistles unneededly. But not me. That is over.

No wonder their stock is in the crapper. What erks me the most is they don't let you know a darn thing. It really stinks. When you work during the day and try to do this only at night it gets annoying...Sorry, Just venting........I only give them a couple hundred dollars a month in fees. Maybe they could refund us on a prorated basis for down time (hahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahaahahaahahahahahahahahhhheheheheheheheehhehhohohohohohohhoo)Sorry

This week I was going to start listing more. But, after the first outage this week I decided to hold off. I'm so glad I did.
Come on eBay would you just be honest and tell us what's going on, how you're going to fix it, and when! Most importantly give the sellers that did list some money back for losing bids because of your downtimes.

I still believe that someday, somewhere someone is going to be pushed too far and will file suit against eBay for charging fees for services that are not being provided, along with claims for compensation for lost revenue and punitive damages. And, if this non performance continues much longer into the Christmas selling season it could be sooner rather than later.

Have we discussed here about a class action suit? I think we did but I'm to lazy to search. It sure would mean more as a group then as an individual case. What about power sellers? They must be losing thousands, why aren't they doing something?

Gee we will never know How much $$ we've lost, refunding the fees is the LEAST they should do without even being asked.
I had a book close very low the other night, wondered why? a while back seemed super slow,my husband ate it big time on an auction with a low reserve, then i noticed others were too.I feel there have been MANY MANY down times not mentioned on the board.
this really hurts,,wow
ps i just tried auction watch's new listing form, pretty good but i had to write them
NO BOX TO CHECK FOR GALLERY at Ebay??Tried to see if i could like a little auction,a/w came back, this site may be down better launch later..NO KIDDING..
thanks for all the info everyone,
hope they fix it soon.Pam Oregon

How bad has it been?
It been soooo bad the last 24 hours that an item that normally gets about 800 views in that amount of time has only drawn 150.
That is how bad it's been.
Geez.....I think I'll go back and have the flu another 4 or 5 days. Give them time to redo the system.
BTW I am in Detroit -- down, down, down.
