Since joining this board I've been accused of being several people so I'm surprised that the RT Sherlock Holmes' and Watsons' haven't been able to deduce the identity of Gingersnap. To me, the posts by Gingersnap seem not only similar in style to an RT poster, but several phrases are used again and again which may shed some light. People interested in these kinds of things may want to look at words like "colon" and "AspHole" as well as phrases such as "gas bag" and "diarrhea of the mouth" then form your own conclusions.

I saw all of that Red, i also noticed that gingersnap uses a double and sometimes a triple period (...) at the sentence breaks instead of using a comma (,). It kinda looks like the pendejo himself with his post in this very thread but i get it as to whom you are refering to.

I've been over there a little more today, reading the threads and i have to say that it is absolutely hilarious reading how all their f*cking crybabies are now putting Colin on ignore, like they just can't stand it anymore and he's got all their feathers ruffled. But then he did put them all to shame and their only answer is to place him on ignore because they can't win the argument.
I've always thought it was a little childish and a chickensh*t thing to do to actually put someone on ignore. To do this only shows how little self control you actually have when it's much easier to just not read someones posts.

I think the whole idea is to avoid the same mess over there that happens here. So, ignoring him is not a bad idea. If you will read the board owner's request at the top of the threads, the reason should be apparent.

You missed my point entirely. When you actually put someone on ignore, it only shows how weak-minded you really are. It shows that you have no self control and can't even trust yourself to not go off on someone that you abhorently disagree with. Besides, not everyone is all bad, all the time.

I know what you mean, Near. I've read a few other boards and it's all too confusing, even though it's all the same stuff with different players. As for Laura Bush, you use to freak me out with your conservatism. Sometimes I wondered if it really was her. LoL!
P.S. Did anyone ever think Gingersnap might be someone that's pretending to be Mingo or Maggie to make them look bad?

pi, I see your point. I don't have anyone here on ignore. I simply don't respond to some posters. I think it frustrates them more knowing that I'm reading what they're writing, but making no comment whatsoever on it. Just ask Ken. I'm pretty good at tuning people out.

Helen and KD, who is "spaz"? The writing style sounds familiar. What a childish nut. Almost as bad as Colin. I restrained myself from joining just so he knows that the board does not belong to him. BTW, you both handled yourself just fine with him. Better than I would have. It seems to be getting more hostile in there than it does in here from time-to-time.

Spazmodeus used to post here before AW instituted the requirement that everyone should have a credit card on file. At that time many people left in protest of that requirement and joined OTWA. Although Spaz is an intelligent poster and good writer, he is overly sensitive, quick to take offense and vindictive with a supercilious manner.
He holds grudges for years...the credit card requirement happened in 2001 and he is still offended. Nobody here is responsible in any way for that event.
I was embarrassed for him and his behavior in the thread that we are discussing but not surprised.

What gets me is they were not (or are not) going to get charged if they put up their credit card. I never have been, and I guess it was 2001 (I saw Spaz's post and he gave the exact date I think) No charges on mine ever.
I honestly don't know what the big deal was. But I'm glad for them that they have OTWA
Cheryl, I don't know! I 'know' posters over there by their poster ID's. I have to think about it, but did you see what Spaz said? He didn't like that Kraft and Gingersnap? joined just recently! Why he got upset about that? I guess he feels territorial?

Have been working on my weblog and in the process weaning off the RT. I know you'll miss me, (..and you always do...) but you still have Helen and big-pee-pee to trick or treat with!
