Thats a lie. or LIKE I SAID before, you dont even remember what you post. You went and posted some travel blip about the area to Helen. If your so familiar with the Cheaspeake bay and the bridge you'd know about Easton. Theres no where to go across that bridge without coming from it or going to toward Easton. Theres marker signs plastered all over the place for it.
And nobody drives 'through' Altoona. Give it up already.

"This coming from the queen of oh so mature pissing contests? Come on Linda - if that's not the pot calling the kettle black....
Queen? You liberals have made me the queen of pissing contests. There's just so many of you who want my attention....and there's so little time to give to all of you on an individual basis. But I do my best....[old Cub Scout motto]....to deal with each and every one of you...but I do recognize I'm out numbered here.
Dble and I get into it once every couple weeks. Is there a day that goews by that you are not involved in one?
Still not getting it are you fenix? I wouldn't have been involved in this one IF YOU hadn't of chosen to use ME for your arguement...and translation person. YOU made the choice to do so, not I. But you know me well enough by now that I will respond...even if you don't wish me to.
I think you are one of the last person on this board that should be judging people for getting into an arguement with someone after being provoked.
No judgement at all fenix. A request to you to leave me out of your spats.
[i]That said... i have told you that you are a fool for letting yourself be baited by other posters here and yet I did the same thing. think I'll take some of my own advice and leave Dbl to do her attention dance all by herself[i].
I sure don't remember you telling me I was a 'fool' for responding....is this something you're adding to this little drama of yours, just now? I believe it is fenix.
And following the advice you give to others...IS a good idea. hard, but a good idea.

(this part wa copied from something Helen had posted) I was right...Easton, Maryland, "the 8th Best Small Town in America" is an arts and cultural center with a population of over 11,000 individuals who love living in a small town that offers the best of many worlds: access to large metropolitan areas like Baltimore, Annapolis, Washington, and Wilmington; good health care from a strong local hospital and medical community; casual and gourmet dining; shopping for all budgets from collectibles to fine antiques; eclectic art galleries; numerous public golf courses; the splendid Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries in their backyard for sailing, canoeing, kayaking, and crabbing; an historic Town Center with Colonial and Victorian architecture; and an active local community that welcomes new ideas and enthusiasm.
Helen - I am going to date my eastt coast residency here but... did they ever complete the Kepone cleanup of the Bay and get it all opened back up?

I was there when everything broke. I remember the ban on shell fish plus the fishing and they also canceled "The Great James River Raft Race for a couple years which was a blast event we used to go to all the time. When I left they were saying it could take decades to complete the clean-up and detox the Bay. I never did all the water sports but used to have a great time tossing out crab pots in the morning, playing around all day on the water then having a bake in the evening.

Neither have anything to do with Easton. Or Maryland for that matter. TGJRRR is held in Virginia.

Dbl - The Kepone spill was in the 70s so unless unless you think I was driving when I was 10 - those events took place at very different times in my life. The Bay Bridge incident was a couple years ago.
You were wrong when you implied that I made up a story about being in Easton and you were wrong when you said that I lied about it. Not exactly shocking that you would never admit to it even when the actual words are placed right in front of you.

Mingo - interesting article - it'll be interesting to see how that one plays out. Abramoff is either the crookedest person in DC these days or has incredibly bad taste in friends. He seems to have surrounded himself with quite the little band of criminals.
