Yes Linda, if you had posted a picture of your breasts that may well have been the case and you would have taken all sorts of guff about it but you at least would take personal resposibility for your own actions and not falsely percieve others thoughts on it.
So, are ya gonna keep 'em covered up or are ya gonna give us all a peek at them, Linda?

I'd think by now you'd know me well enough to know that just because I'm asked to do something, that I think is totally inappropriate, doesn't mean I will do it.
So sorry  ....you'll have to ask the ladies who are so willing to do what is requested of them by total strangers. I'm just not one of them.

I'm sure Maggie did exactly as she wanted to do. lindak, you seem to be the only one making moral judgments on what she did.

What you aren't getting kiara, is that everyone IS entitled to make their own moral judgements here. Yes, I did and I've never denied that. Imo, for a married woman to seek attention the way she did - I do find it morally lacking....I'd bet her husband might find her actions upsetting too.
But it is SHE who is having a problem dealing with the choices she made....not me. She is the one who needs to deal with her own issues of shame, regret, or whatever she may be feeling. It's HER problem to deal with.

Linda, it seems to me that you are the only one here who has a problem with Maggie's "actions"...I agree with Kiara that it must be jealousy. You even had a problem with her halloween photo. Fun is just not in your vocabulary unless that fun is at another's expense. I'm sure that the only problem that Maggie is dealing with is YOU.
After all, this is supposed to be fun...not an exercise in endurance.

....her getting upset about it shows clearly it bothers her that's it's mentioned. If she weren't struggling with some negative feelings about her actions then it would just glide off her back like water on a duck. Obviously that's not the case.

maggie tried posted a picture that was at least 25 years old...told all of US to go FIND a costume, take a pic and post it here.
But see helen....she hadn't done that herself. That is what I pointed out. Obviously reading the TRUTH still bothers you.

nope, kiara, it's my way of pointing out how morally empty some of you are. How hyprocritical you are when anything a leftie does is acceptable....
it's like someone told helen over at otwa....if something is okay with you then it should be okay when anyone else, even those on the opposing side of the aisle, do it too. When it's NOT...when it's only slammed when a rightie does it...but not when a leftie does it....it speaks LOUDLY to that persons lack of character.
Now....maybe maggie will come back at some point and tell us HER thoughts and feelings....so she doesn't need you and helen to 'speak' for her.

Linda, the TRUTH is that Maggie made no secret of her age and the fact that she is a grandmother. Then she posted a photo of a young girl, in a halloween costume with NO intentions to deceive anyone.

You sit there daily poo-pooing the lack of moral character of others and you know nothing about some of us. Who are you to judge?

helen...I know you will never understand...it's way beyond your capabilites. No surprise there.
She told us to do differently than what she, herself, did. That's really easy to grasp...and it's the truth.
Do you have any other old disagreements you'd like to mention to divert attention away from the subject matter of you trying to cause Colin trouble over there?
They did point out to you that you were good at trying to divert attention elsewhere when you didn't want the subject to remain where it was, because YOU felt uncomfortable with the issue.
God...I'm just so glad that others can see your game helen. Now I don't feel so all alone. They too have you pegged for just what you do and what you are.

That is the statement I was talking about, lindak. How do you know what Maggie is feeling? How do you know she has a problem with what she did? Please show me the link so I can judge for myself what she said about shame and regret.

Kiara, i'll help you out with the link that you are demanding from Linda that shows how Maggie feels. It came from page 5 of this thread and parts of the same post by her have been posted several times but not in it's entirety. Seeing it in it's entirety shows Maggie's feelings but it's important to note that her feelings are merely manifestations of false perceptions of how she thinks others see/view her, imo.

First off, piinthesky I was not 'demanding' anything. I asked nicely in a quiet voice and I did also say 'please' so perhaps you are reading much more into what I say and how I say it. Hopefully lindak appreciates your effort in trying to help her out with this.
The way I see it is that Maggie showed a photo of her upper breasts showing an ant bite. And it seems that lindk became jealous over the attention that Maggie received so went on and on in numerous threads about Maggie and was judging Maggie on her actions. I don't see that Maggie regrets showing the picture but it looks to me that she doesn't like lindak's moral judgments about what she chose to do and how she keeps going on and on making it sound like Maggie did something wrong and that she may be flashing herself on other boards.
When Maggie says 'upper breasts' I take it no nipples were shown? Or is that why lindak is so judgmental because she showed it all? I really don't want to upset those who tout such high morals but can I even say 'nipples' here now? I do remember the flack I got last time I said that word like it was bad or something and Kraft suggested perhaps 'chest dots' would be more appropriate from now on instead.
