I like fruit cake too but this particular one was heavy as 5 bricks and hard and dry as a brick too. I could not even cut it. LOL Now that is a bad sign in fruit cakes. My wife's Grandmother could make the best fruit cake I ever had. She even put liquor in it. Hummmm good--- I think her recipe died with her many years ago.
