Let me see... dead family by a disgruntled bidder or EBay kook... or fake phone # and a naru... heaven forbid - that will kill me!
Gee a tough choice! This is not a game people-- Ebay will not help you. No big deal to open another seller account - I have 5.

Well sounds like he got it from your website. The best thing to use if selling a lot (previously mentioned) is a PO box. However, as unfortunate as it sounds, today anyone who knows your name and maybe what state/city your in can get pretty much any info they want on you. It is possible, though scary. If people know the right place to look...

InfoSpace has a reverse phone number lookup, I think.
I have a ureach number listed as my contact info for eBay. It's legit, a free 1-800 number, limited to 30 minutes a month but I never use the minutes up and they carry over (up to two months worth at a time). If you register a CC you get a number without an extension, they do NOT charge your CC, it's just on file to tempt you into buying more phone time if you use yours up (but you don't get charged unless you make a purchase request).
Anyway, I use the 800 number as my contact number for eBay, people can leave me voice mail which I can then retrieve online from the ureach site (free). I also use the number as a long distance "calling card" when I'm out and need to make a l.d. call. Pretty handy. This way, bidders CAN contact me if need be but they can't find me via a reverse telephone lookup.
No way in hell I'd give eBay my home phone number so they could pass it out like candy, after reading some of the threads I've read here in the past year.
