The Buy it Now concept is not unfamiliar to anyone who has bid for art at a Science Fiction Convention. Most Convention Art Shows have a "Quick Sale" option for the Artists. Some use it, some don't.
ie. Start the piece at $10 with a $30 "Quick Sale" Price. If the first bidder bids $30, the auction is over; if the first bidder bids $10, the QS option is no longer available.

You also have to watch for "lurkers", who will come by in the last 30 seconds of the auction and outbid you by a $1 on a piece you have had the high bid on all weekend. Sound familiar?

No. I have plenty of choices as it is. Including moving my stuff elsewhere. Ebay is out of schemes and I dont' appreciate it

Does this mean more bid retractions?
