I do not recall having a 'pointed confrontation' with muse about that issue. It may have happened, but I seriously doubt that it is quite as you say if it happened at all as I don't believe I had a 'pointed confrontation' with anyone over that issue. You have access to those threads and I do not. If I am mistaken and you wish to email the thread to me to refresh my recollection, feel free to do so. I won't post it or send it to anyone else. I did not archive anything from that board.

Well I remember it, and it was quite emphatic. I cannot quote from it; the board is not operational as of around 4 am. The reason cited was that members had received threats and had their contact info pulled.

ToyRanch: Go back and read the beginning of that thread on ebay.

Just FYI, I did go reread the beginning of that now-locked thread on eBay. The seller, who started the thread, does not say that the emailer was telling bidders not to pay; he said the emailer was emailing all the bidders on his auctions and was telling them not to bid. The emailer - even when she replied directly to the seller - did not disagree with that part of his message.

The first time the emailer said she didn't email people during open auctions was 70 messages later, in response to someone quoting eBay policy.

I tried to click on the "About Me" page to view the email info and my webtv came back stating that it was too much info to view.

When someone comes on a thread and immediately starts complaining about being attacked, they lose credibility. An honest person will be able to calmly and reasonably persuade.

eBay has policies against many practices but refuses to enforce them for a variety of reasons. Therefore, eBay has created its very own Wild West.

Glenda~

Any way you slice it, it's auction interference. People breaking the rules and harming the businesses of others because they THINK they are doing the 'right' thing.

Sandy~

Wow, the whole board got WOMD!

I know you were not meaning to imply it, but just for the record, I have not pulled the contact information of ANYONE and I have not emailed threats to ANYONE and I have not called ANYONE and I have not encouraged ANYONE to do it, either. That kind of thing is beyond the pale, and should be reported to all proper authorities.

No, I didn't mean to imply it, I didn't think so, but I am glad you stated so anyway. Never hurts.
