Being biased does not necessarily mean that news is being misrepresented. Lou Dobbs (CNN) has had way more Conservative and Republican guests on his show this year than Democrats.

Isn't it wiser to watch and read as many different outlets as possible in order to get a more balanced perspective than rely constantly on the same source and close your mind or shut out differing opinions that you don't happen to agree with?
As far as the 'several posters' who also think Fenix is whining........ thanks for the smile....... they are the same 'several posters' who seem to be discontented with the way that some others post here.
In fact some who whine and complain the loudest are usually the ones who see whines and complaints where there aren't any and assume that others should be just as they are and should post as they do and view the world as they do. They seem unable to discern the difference between a mere comment and a complaint or whine.

fenix - this is not about Ron...this is about your continuing complaining about things done on Fox News.
Maybe you should have helen do a search for you....just typing in fenix Fox News on vendio. LOL
Then you would see this has developed into a pattern of yours that several posters have mentioned to you.
Your refusal to see your own actions is funny....and typical at the same time.
This is NOT an earth shattering new awareness about you.....just me pointing out that Ron is NOT incorrect in how he see's your actions here.
And that he is NOT alone in viewing them in the same manner.
continue on......

Linda - I'm actually not quite sure what the point of all of this is.
Are you saying that people should not point out when news agencies sensationalize the mundane
or is your point that I should not be exposing myself to a network that expresses diferent opinions than my own.
I know your point is not that I should not point either out. I mean, you are the one that so consistantly states that we have the right to say whatever it is we wish to say on here right?
What is it that you feel I have "refused to see"? That I point out when Fox is being sesationalistic? And this is different from you doing the exact same thing regarding MSM how?

LOL
My POINT, fenix is to show you were WRONG in your accusations about Fox News.
This riot, was a RIOT even back on March 16....according to many OTHER news sources. One that has continued to GROW....from a reported 200,000 protestors/rioters in France to over a million mentioned today.
Yesterday you chose AGAIN to point out Fox News and put them down for reporting and showing the riots....and calling it just what it is.
And also mention you do this all the time.
[BBCNEWS
--------
What's wrong with this statement...
As we watch these rioters milling about...
One of the great examples of what I love about Fox News.
They are covering the events in Paris this morning which seem at this point to be pretty sedate. But don't let your eyes fool you. Sure you are watching footage of two people on the street who seem to be seem to be talking about one their jackets but if you listen to the announcer "...in Paris where things are clearly getting out of hand... you will see the fair and balanced truth.
Ooops... think someone realized that they sounded stupid calling a street full of people wandering around doing nothing "Rioters". They are calling them protesters again. (I think that might be pushing it though - at this point they don't seem to be more than socializers
-------
When in FACT....the rioting and burning of things as seen on the BBC had begun DAYS ago.
But imply Fox News is giving a different 'impression' as to the rioting that WAS/STILL IS going on over there.
Fox News was showing the rioting as it was happening....yesterday morning when YOU said it was all so calm/sedate...just people talking about their jackets.
LOL

So Linda - are you trying to say that I am lying about what I saw and about the fact that Fox reporters had already said that there had not yet been any incidents of violence?
I'm not talking about the history of events. I'm talking about the ACTUAL events as they were being reportted and shown at the time.
The only way that you can say that what I stated here is wrong is to say that I am lying and that I made up the visual of the camera shot and of the previous statements in the hour or so preceeding it.

I am saying...as I originally said....this thread of yours represents an action you take all the time.
Trying to make it appear that Fox News [or someone on their network] is misrepresenting the facts....not being 'fair and balanced'.
And I have pointed out how you were wrong in implying that they were making MORE of the actual events occurring in France than were actually being seen....on the Fox coverage of the water tanks spraying water on the RIOTERS.....which seemed to bother you so much that they were being called EXACTLY what they were....rioters.
Not just 'sedate' citizens ....'milling around'. LOL
Now, if you don't understand my point by now....you never will. And this will just turn into another pattern of yours....the inability of you to accept that SOME posters here see your actions of being negative about what Fox News says or does as your pattern, and your wish to continue on and on and on with an argument about how wrong they are. LOL
This thread is but ONE example of your refusal to see that Fox News does report accurately....and does report FACTUALLY ...and did NOT misrepresent the riots in an unrealistic or 'overblown' manner.
------
edited to add:
"In other words, you don't having a clue what was going on, but you just have to stick up for Fox even when you don't have any idea what it is you are talking about. If you had been watching you would have known they had been covering the possible story for TWO HOURS and nothing had happened yet. No violence, nothing to justify the group at this point being called "rioters". Next time, before you decide to lecture me on needing "the whole picture" you should try to have at least part of it yourself."
And I'm saying we did have a better view of the WHOLE picture than you got from that one video you saw. That's what he was trying to tell you. But you knew better than what's been being reported SINCE March 16th.
Here's Fox News reporting on the RIOTS that so upset you on March 18, 2006
Yesterday they were CORRECTLY calling them just what they were more than 10 days prior - rioters.

Linda - so yes. You are calling me a liar. Despite the fact that you were not watching at the same time you have decided that what I said I saw is not true. Are you also saying that I am lying when I relayed the quote or do you think that people often mill around when being sprayed with a water cannon. The "milling about" quote was straight from the Fox reporters mouth Linda, not mine.
Why is it that you are so adamant in your efforts to redefine something that you did not actually see?

Again, and for the last time, fenix....
I am pointing out that your continuing issue about Fox News doing something that you make comment on....
....is biased and unfair at that. They did NOT inaccurately misrepresent the FACTS of what has been happening in France for almost two weeks.....as YOU implied.
Call it whatever you want....I'm saying your comment was not the 'whole' of the sitution and that you were trying to make it appear that Fox News was being less than honest in reporting and calling them just what they are.
As I said...if you don't 'get' that....you never will. And your pattern is you usually don't.

Linda - they were not reporting on what ha been going on in France for the past 10 days. they were reporting on what was going on in France at the time. But again, if you had actually seen the report that you are so admanatly attempting to defend, you would know that.
You would have also known that the "Milling About" quote came from the Fox reporter so that you did not accidentally mock it in your attempts to defend.
