ANOTHER...
GOPiggy Creep:
WARMINSTER, Pa. - The leaders of the Republican and Democratic committees in Warminster are calling for the resignation of GOP Supervisor Fred Gold, who sent an e-mail with a photo of a topless woman promoting Jan. 15 as "Breast Appreciation Day."
The e-mail that accompanied the photo asked, "Beats ... Martin Luther King Day, doesn't it?"
Democratic Chairman Joseph Bowes Jr. and Republican Chairman Jim Messina described the e-mail as insulting to women and blacks.
"It embarrassed the party. It embarrassed me," Messina said.
Bowes called it "offensive on many levels."
Gold sent the e-mail from his personal account, and apologized if anyone who received or saw it was offended.
"I certainly don't think I did anything immoral or unethical," he said. "To resign because of this, I don't think so."

Just got back from church. I bet that really hits the spot with bigpeepa.
Thanks BeBe.
I like your new handle. I think this suits you better.
I want to say how sorry I am about your fate in that horrible hurricane. I hope things are better for you. Thank goodness you were not there as I am sure it was rather scary. Nobody should have to go through something like that but you never know about Mother Nature. I listened to an Internet radio from New Orleans during the end of the hurricane and that was really interesting. I think this was the only station able to broadcast but after awhile they ran out of gas and couldn't broadcast anymore.
To you Linda I am sorry to hear about that horrible accident you had. During my years of x-ray service (lol) I saw a few of those horrible breaks and was amazed at the recovery the patients had.
I left this board 8 months ago for a little R & R. I did visit it regularly and was happy I couldn't post. You know that Vendio will give vacations to anyone that requests it. hint hint. I sure wish that some would take the hint and ask for a vacation. It is well worth it.
Good to be back and I promise I will stay on topic, try not to insult to much and wish others would do the same. Childish postings are stupid. We are adults and we should act like adults. ahem.....
A review of 'Donkey Cons: Sex, Crime, and Corruption in the Democratic Party'
Apr 13, 2006
Review by Monique E. Stuart
[i]I like that 'term'....donkey CON[/b].
While politicians on the Left are busy working with the Left-leaning media to sell the idea of what they have branded the Right's culture of corruption, Robert Stacy McCain and Lynn Vincent, in their new book Donkey Cons: Sex, Crime, and Corruption in the Democratic Party, expose the real culture of corruption that has been woven into the fabric of the Democrat Party since it's inception.
This includes everything from the party's founding father Aaron Burr to the Left's involvement with Jack Abramoff.
A refreshing book, low in rhetoric and high in historical fact (with over 600 footnotes), Donkey Cons chronicles crime after crime committed by the Left and how its representatives are seemingly immune to judgment, never held accountable, and actually rewarded for their crimes by moving to some of the most powerful positions in the party (eg. Teddy Kennedy, Hill and Bill Clinton).
McCain and Vincent write:
It seems almost any crime can be excused or ignored if the perpetrator is a Democrat.
A married Democrat mayor can be caught smoking crack cocaine with a prostitute and, even after he is convicted and sentenced to prison, manage to return to public office.
A married Democratic senator who leaves a party with a single young woman and gets into a drunk-driving accident that kills her does not merely avoid jail time, but retains his Senate seat and indeed goes on to become one of the most powerful politicians in his party.
Wholesale corruption, election fraud, kickbacks, bribery, espionage, treason if you're a Democrat, such acts apparently are never major scandals, and certainly are never portrayed by the major media as evidence that you or your party are untrustworthy.
Demonstrating their reporter backgrounds (McCain is an assistant editor at The Washington Times, and Vincent is features editor at World Magazine) by offering balance to their story, the authors also report corrupt Republicans as well.
Unfortunately for the Left, as McCain and Vincent point out, there's just not as much to report.
Using information from the website Political Graveyard, which they describe as a non-partisan Web site that parses local, state, and federal politicians into numerous categories (nationality, awards won, religion practiced, and so forth - they showed that "Democratic double-dealers listed on the Political Graveyard far outnumbered GOP crooks: 88 to 49."
Detailing the numerous scandals involving Congressmen who deal with, as they call it, "money-grubbing", McCain and Vincent tally the damage on both sides of the aisle.
They report:
The politicians listed to this point were freelance malefactors, with Democrats outnumbering Republicans 29 to 13, a similar ratio to our Political Graveyard analysis. But sometimes corruption happens in bulk. And when it does, Democrats are there. While eighteen congressional Democrats were either convicted in court or disciplined by their own chamber, only three Republicans were caught up in multimember scandals - and one of those had his conviction overturned.
Donkey Cons goes beyond that, exploring in depth how politicians on the Left jumped in bed with the mob back in the 1930s and how labor unions today, to a large degree, simply dictate their party's platform.
The authors explore the Left's treasonous tendencies, especially when it comes to communist regimes, though this is quickly being replaced by a love for Islamo-fascist regimes.
McCain and Vincent expose how liberals aid and abet criminals and then lobby to return their right to vote (and we can guess who they'll vote for).
They uncover how the Left is really the party of the rich and the presidential affairs and then give a snapshot of how deep the Clinton White House was in a scandal much worse than the affair with Monica
Lewinksy: Chinagate.
Finally, closing out the book with the Left's involvement with Jack Abramoff, which as it turns out, isn't a "Republican scandal" after all.
One of the best political thrillers I have ever read, it's scary that Donkey Cons is a piece of non-fiction.
This book takes liberals to task for their con-artist ways, while holding conservatives responsible for their indiscretions, as well. Although, as Donkey Cons argues, there is a fundamental difference between the two parties:
when a Democrat is involved in a scandal, he becomes a national figure for the party, but when a Republican is involved in a scandal it always ends with him resigning in disgrace.
I highly recommend this book to liberals who want to familiarize themselves better with the party they are associating themselves with, and I also recommend it to conservatives who need to be reminded why they call themselves conservative.
This book is especially helpful for young readers not familiar with the historical facts of how far back immorality and corruption really does go on the Left: since the party's beginning.

Libra63,
Nothing has changed with me. I still dislike and completely disrespect LIARS like liar_k. I personally believe she is a wicked old woman that is truly Anti-American. I believe people like liar_K is out to destroy middle and working class America. The good news is liar_K and the political movement she supports is failing.
What has changed in the U.S. since you have been gone is DUMBO BUSH'S ratings are down the toilet. He is just another incompetent CONSERVATIVE LIAR that the vast majority of Americans no longer believe.
Stay tuned Libra63 for the next round of G.O.P. arrests coming soon. Don't worry someone from my side will let you know as soon as more G.O.P. piggies get taken away in handcuffs.

Question for BigPeepa:
Show me where Linda has lied.
Now I have called this question to you. The Questions you keep asking everyone else to answer and you never do. When someone asks you a question you either run and hide or find some thing to shout about. Give up some proof or are you just blowing smoke...

Thank you Libra. Things are slowly improving around here. Our little lazy town's population tripled after the hurricane and it has put a strain on the school system, law enforcement,etc.. Our neighbors have started to rebuild and other than downed trees most of the debris in this area has been removed. I will never feel secure here again though.
So tell us what you have been up to these past 8 months? Are you still selling on Ebay? How's your daughter and grand daughter doing?
posted on April 14, 2006 02:37:03 PM new
BeBe, yes I still sell on ebay and also over at Yahoo. I wish Yahoo would get busier as everything is free over there. There are some nice items for sale but the buyers are not there. But there is also lots of non paying bidders and some scammers. They don't police like ebay.
For 8 months I relaxed. Had a good Holiday. Life without the RT was great. Everyone should try it....
This is what I learned. This board lacks respect. Not only respect for our elders but respect for ourselves. I have no idea how we lost our values and if there is ever a chance to get them back. Didn't our parents teach us to respect. I wonder what ever happened to that. Religion or no religion we still owe each other respect. Of course differences of opinion are okay but with the name calling that is going on is outrageous. We are adults in a adult forum, why not act that way.
My granddaughters are just great. Thanks for asking. Just got home from their house. Katherine who is 10 is fluent in sign language the 2 year old is fluent in talking. The two are so different. But a lot of fun.
Back to the topic. I have noticed that there hasn't been much said about this problem since the story broke. I wonder why? Does anyone have an idea? So much hoopla when the Democrats got the news about Homeland Security but soon quited down when they found out he was democrat. I think the press has a lot to do with this as each and every outlet wants the first to scoop the news instead of doing a little research before printing it and getting the whole story. Then we as readers or listeners we assume the worst and start blaming someone.

Libra, I am very glad that you came back. I have wanted to apologize to you for a long time now. My behavior to you was totally unacceptable and I have been ashamed of myself for a long time because of it. I have no excuse, only to say that I must have been off of my rocker for a while. Please accept my apology.

No need to apologize, I accept your apology. When we can't meet people face to face it is easy to post on a chat board, but then we forget those people have feelings also. I hold no anamositity to anyone but I wish that when people post that we are all human beings and are all different. Thanks Maggie.
BigPeepa:
I haven't heard an answer from you yet? If you forgot the question I will remind you.

I think that's big of you, maggie. The way things were going when Libra left...I felt it was because of you and crowfarm/mingo.
I'm happy she's back too....and I'm very happy that you were big enough to apologize to her. That's nice of you to do.

Linda and Libra... One in the same. Neither have offered any criticism whatsoever about the actions of Doyle. Makes you wonder why someone wouldn't speak out against a sex offender. Deep down, you must wonder if they actually support this behavior.
What is Linda's proof that Doyle is a Democrat??? A right winged blog site that actually posted a fake Voter Registration card for him.
What is Linda's opinion of Doyle's actions? None. She offers the typical "blame everybody else" mantra and the "we won the election" BS. Absolutely zero accountability, zero criticism when a Republican does anything wrong. Instead, she cites a book review. A total joke.
What does Libra offer? A play by play look into this discussion acting as if nobody here can actually read what everybody posted. What does she say about a report done by an AP writer? "just takes the word of a reporter." What does Libra say when Linda links to a right winged blog site called "whizbang"? "Linda steps in and provides information that the above posters need to rethink. Facts just the facts...." Hmmm. Trust a writer who is willing to put their name on their reporting, or trust a biased blog site that nobody knows who wrote it? Trust police reports, or trust a website that posts fake Voter Registration Cards? You decide.
Another thing that Libra states, "Rusty has a crystal ball now: Yet, they can't detect it within their own organization even when there were previous clues into Doyle's past??? Hypocrisy, pure hypocrisy. Rusty do you know for sure that he as done this before? Of course I forgot you are 100% right."
Here is some research for you...

Why I consider this a blog also. Anything on the web is a blog. There is nothing substancial in anything written on the internet.
Don't you know how to post links. Try it and maybe someone will read them until then I will consider what was written in that blog true.

Of course, Bear will now go back and publish his photo properly, but hey... you got called on being plain dumb again. We have obviously lowered the bar for Texans. Look at we have in the White House. LOL!!!!!! LOL!!!!! LOL!!!!!

LOL....well...rusty's still ranting and raving....and has posted two links....I GUESS they're supposed to PROVE this man is a Republican.
I read the first link he provided and I don't see one mention of him being a Republican. Maybe someone else could read the first link and see if I missed his PROOF? LOL LOL
Another thing I've noticed with the liberals is they will TRY to DISCREDIT the website....even though the TRUTH is PROVEN on any site.
It doesn't matter who or which website is posting it....when they PROVIDE PROOF of what they're saying.
For example....if the Drudge Report states that the unemployment rate has gone down....there is PROOF of what's posted there. So to deny the TRUTH because one doesn't like the Drudge Report....is NOTHING BUT IGNORANT, imo. Because that info. can be verified on many other sites, including the Dept. of Labor.

An update from the WSJ today:
Out of Time
It turns out that Brian Doyle, who resigned as deputy press secretary at the Department of Homeland Security after being charged with solicitation of a minor and transmitting pornographic material to a minor, is not a career civil servant, as we said yesterday.
As CNN reported earlier this month, he actually spent most of his career in the mainstream media:
Friends and former co-workers say Doyle was disciplined by Time magazine after he allegedly used company computers to view adult pornography in the publication's Washington bureau office. . . .
Time began an investigation after an employee in the bureau complained after finding offensive photographs on her computer, sources said. The photos, which were not of juveniles, were traced to Doyle.
The complaint was dropped after Doyle's colleagues signed a petition of support, the sources said.
Doyle received a formal warning and was required to undergo mental health counseling before returning to work, the sources said.
Sources disagree over whether Time suspended Doyle or whether he took a leave of absence after the incident.
Time magazine said only that it employed Doyle for 26 years and refused to comment further.
Doyle, a registered Democrat, left Time in 2001 to work for the government.
