Even if a Democrate is our next President I don't look for Gas prices to go down. I think they are only going to get higher as the summer approaches.

Unfortunately gas will probably have to get high enough to make alternative fuels affordable.

Democrats just would tax the oil companies who in turn will pass on the costs to us, so yes gas would not go down.

Nothing is further from what you've decided to believe, which may or may NOT be the truth.

A gallon of ethanol replaces only two thirds of a gallon of gas, and costs significantly more to produce. One and a half gallons of ethanol replaces only one gallon of gas. Archer Daniels Midland is selling the U.S. a bill of goods, to it's advantage and nobody else's.

This site is filled with information about the production costs of ethanol as it's currently utilized in the U.S.
