DB-I remember back in the 50's and 60's the Catholic church use to say mass in Latin.I had no idea what the priest was saying,which I could never figure out why-who the hell speaks Latin?? Then he would raise his arms with the crucifix,do a few motions back and forth with his hands,bow and slam his head against the prayer book.With all these motions, I figured he must be doing part of the mass for the deaf,as I still had no idea what he was doing.
Then communion came the priest would come along as we knelt down at the alter and he would take this round white object(which tasted like sh*t)and place it on our tongues-talk about spreading germs.
