I just want to say that I know what you are going through, having had to put my Shar-pei, Suleiman, to sleep a couple of months ago. As with the loss of other family members, the pain doesn't go away for quite a long while, but remembering the happy times you have with Ladybug helps a lot as I am sure your are finding. As well as the knowledge of the suffering you spared her. I was more fortunate than you in that I have 3 other dogs to greet me each day. When the time is right you find another dog to love. My heart goes out to you.

Pook - So very sorry that you had to go through this. Every pet owner who has ever had to make this decision, knows just how you feel and can sympathize. It's a very tough time.

We said goodbye to our friend of 16 years, Tara, over a year ago. It was the hardest thing we ever did, but the comfort is knowing that you have done the right thing and rewarded a life of loyalty and love with a fitting farewell.
