Final Success Fees
Effective February 1, 2004, FSF will be charged to sellers when items listed on Bidville sell. Final Success Fees will take the place of current \"membership\" fees at Bidville. The new FSF structure will be as follows:
Sale Price FSF
$0.01-$25.00 5%
$25.01-$1000.00 $1.25 + 2.5% of amount over $25.00
Over $1000.00 $25.63 + 1% of amount over $1000.00
FSF will be billed on a monthly basis to the seller. If a credit card is on file with Bidville, the credit card will be charged the FSF total for that month. If a Bidville Seller does not wish to use a credit card to pay for FSF, other arrangements can be made with Customer Service by emailing them
Enhancement Fees
Enhancement Fees will remain the same prices with a few additional enhancements being added. The optional enhancements and the corresponding fee structure will be as follows:
Enhancement Fee
Bold Face Title $0.25
Highlight $0.25
Take It! FREE
Gift Center Icon $0.50
Category Feature $2.50
Homepage Feature $5.00
Banner $0.25
Photo Gallery $0.50

So the verification extra fee is still in place? That will make BV one of the most expensive places to sell once the 'grandfather' aspect goes away in mid-year?
That's the twist the $5/$10 verification system will remain in place and no other site has such as a setup.
There should be a slow migration of BV sellers to low-priced venues.

I believe they are going to eliminate all the "membership" fees ace, and just have the FVF, and extras. I expect a slow decline in numbers starting next month.

BV has possibly tried to slow down any mass exodus with the grandfathering. The premium membership sellers can ignore the whole new situation for another six plus months.
It appears the verification sham will disappear on 8/1/4.
The 5% FSF ( Final Sucess Fee ) is not that bad of a deal because 5% of a buck is only a nickel. That's a lot cheaper than ioffer's minimum 50 cent selling fee structure.
I don't see BV getting rich on this new fee setup and there will have to be some other way to increase revenue. There can be no extra money generated for any kind of an advertising campaign.

AuctionDOOFUS why don't you stick a sock in it already. You've been wrong on almost everything you've ever said. For a site to succeed it needs buyers. Buyers don't give a rat's ass how much of a fee a sellers has to pay. Listing fee, final value fee, a buyer simply does not care. Why would someone want to wade through this type of crap http://www.bidville.com/search/user_search.asp?user_id=185085&shop_type=all&sort_by= Now these dumbasses want to charge a fee you think the quality of items will get any better?

WTF is wrong with you goobers? Are you all sheep. No wonder ebay has had such an easy job taking you all out back and giving you the once over. You all deserve to be walking around bow-legged. Let Ed Orlando give it to you next.

There is a term for that it's called "sloppy seconds". Once ebay has had there way with them a few sellers do migrate over to bidville. This is where the second ramming will occur. The worst sellers on the net are at bidville. They are the worst as far as items, ad description, photos and customer service. Almost all of them are ebay flunkies that is why they are at bidville, they simply could not compete. Throw in half a million 50 cent cards and you have the entire dudville inventory. A wharehouse of crap that's all it is. All you dingbats seem to miss the most important point which is why would any group of buyers in sufficient numbers ever migrate over to dudville. That seems to be the big question none of you seems to be able to comprehend. Why would buyers go to that POS. Eh, yeah thought so why don't you chew on that bone for a bit.

There's really no point in responding to someone like you. Your method of communication reveals that you have a low opinion of yourself that drives you to constantly belittle others in an effort to elevate yourself. It doesn't work.

( Bones, put both scout and sonecold on ignore and life at Vendio is mellow again )
There will always be a steady exodous of sellers from ebay. Many may try sites like BV but when they see that it is usually even more difficult to sell at those sites they will either quit selling or return to ebay.

well than don't respond and keep your asinine evaluations to yourself. It is quite clear that you simply lack the business acumen and analytical ability to respond.
What dudville has done is simply circumvent the traditional method of going public by using a reverse aquisition by an already public shell corporation. dudville is now a public stock and I feel sorry for the happless suckers who are going to buy that stock. This smells of a classic pump and dump. Why take this route to go public?? Why have so many freshy created investment firms involved?? Because no serious investment bank would even consider dudville. No technology, the site runs on coldfusion and active server pages, it is literally a joke. No serious management, it's run as a part-time pet project of a emergency room doctor. No serious revenue, AuctionDOOFUS at one point estimated $80,000 per year. This is all after a 5 year run. If these guys really believe in the site why don't any of them put in their own cash in and make it their full time business to run it. Instead they've hatched this pump and dump scheme and expect the public to foot the bill. So go ahead and put your money where your mouth is go and buy bidville stock. I can almost gaurantee you that Mr. Orlando will dump his 3,000,000 shares within the next 6 months. Perhaps bonecollector you will be one of the naive fools will own some of his worthless paper.
You won't respond because you can't respond. AuctionDOOFUS you are just a blabbering fool so don't even bother trying to take any of this in.

I'll show you why how the ignore optional feature works so great. All I see ( only when logged in to Vendio ) is :
You are currently ignoring posts from sc0ut. Click here to view them.

But you still spend an inordinate amount of time discussing and drawing attention to my posts which defeats the purpose of your ignore feature. That also reaffirms my point that you are a DOOFUS, always have been and always will be. I know my simple cuddly defensless little DOOFUS that you must occasionally read my post to know if I have posted something you need to run and tattle on me about. So your little ignore feature is about as usefull as your nonsensical posts.

I don't need an ignore feature to disregard him. He has nothing of value to offer, so why would I bother?
It's quite clear that he's lacking in his ability to communicate on an adult level on any subject. Successful business people don't talk to others the way he does.

WTF do you know about business?? WTF do you know about technology?? But you still spill your drivel on these boards. Can't handle it when someone tells you to stick a cork in it. You think I'm the one that can't handle business. Go walk into a meeting talking out your ass and see how long you'll be in business. I don't know what type of business you've been involved with in your life. It's almost comical that you even mention business.

Boy DOOFUS I wasn't aware that you were so vindictive. Under the circumstances I can see why you'd be so bitter, and yes even wish an act of violence on another human. It really makes you wonder if any of you have any type of formal education. I guess with your limited skill set you really do rely on the limited income you receive from your online sales. I am almost certain AuctionDOOFUS that you are a highschool janitor, and being around all those teachers must get to you. Although they work with you I'm sure they don't see you as one of their peers, they probably look down on you and the young cute ones probably laugh as you enter the room. You use this forum as a venue to share your frustration at life in general with other losers in the same socio-economic bracket. It is commendable that justmypostingid would run to the pathetic defense of a fellow loser like AuctionDOOFUS. I guess there is some truth to the old adage that sh*t sticks together. The sad truth is that the online selling world is going to get tougher for people like you. It's not the economy, or ebay or some other excuse, it's simply that you guys suck, your items suck. Eventually a site will come along that will be better than ebay but you are still going to suck, you should just throw in the towel and find something else to do. Which bring up an interesting point, what did you booger eating hicks do before ebay?? I mean you certainly weren't involved with computers. for example bonecollector please let us know what you were involved in before becoming a crap dealer on ebay and more recently on bidville. How about you justmypostingid? Don't blame me for your pathetic lives blame yourself.

Postingidiot and auctiondoofus are just upset because they now have to find somewhere else to post their completely worthless items because even with a FVF, they will lose money on their 3 cent crap. I here bidway has open arms for the both of you. Then there is bones. One has to wonder who's boning him. Auctiondoofus or Postingidiot.

I didn't assume you know nothing. I said you were a crap dealer and I was curious what you were before that. Which you conveniently ignored but that's OK your lack of response speaks for itself. As for me I have a degree in computer science from the University of California Berkeley with a minor in economics. I've run my own computer consulting business and have been selling, installing and maintaining enterprise computer hardware and software since I was in highschool.

Listen, AuctionDOOFUS, I'm sure you do love Vendio, it's the only place on the net were anyone gives you the time of day. Outside of Vendio you are simply known as janitorDOOFUS. Here we all know you as your super alter ego AuctionDOOFUS, the know nothing troll of the Vendio boards. So bonecollector if your not a know-nothing crap dealer what are you? I mean what is your training in? What a collection of ding-bats, jackswebb the idiot ex-marine (semper fi do or die man), AuctionDOOFUS the yearbook stealing janitor (Hey, you pervert stop peaking at the football players in the shower you freak), bonecollector the mysterious highly-skilled precious metals dealer with a PHD in Metallurgy (Not), and the beat goes on.
I'd love to sit and chit chat with you guys but my REAL friends are over, we're about to head out and chase some tail. Afterall it is Saturday night and some of us have real lives. Later you hosebags.
