Damnit! I'm Cuff! ( hugs to Dimmy )

Since I'm now the real Cuff ( BTW, name not misspelled ) I wish to comment on the new BV revenue generating fee structure. ( sounding like Bush the Elder ) " Aint gonna happen, can't do it. "
How in the name of Mootropolis can BV raise any dough with only a 5% FVF selling fee when half of the stuff is $1 or less? A nickel is a lot of money only if you have hundreds of thousands of those babies piled up. The Floridians owners have to come up with a better plan than that. When the investors find out that is what most online auction sites have been doing for a while without success they will want to see a 'Plan B'.

Maybe they are working on a ad to air during the Superbowl and figure that will jumpstart sales so those nickels will ad up?

Can you imagine if BV spent several million dollars on a 30 second TV commercial aired during the Super Bowl? They would get everyone's attention including the investment world. They would get tons of free press.
They would also get a lot of bad press as the site has very bargains and almost 50% of all listings are under $1 sportscards. If 70% of all ebay sellers offer PayPal I wonder what percentage of BV auctions offer it? 10% or 20% maybe?

Superbowl commercials can only help so much. A single good commercial can boost a brand that people already know. People don't know Bidville.

Bidville? Who out there even knows it exists?

I bet if someone took a poll of all internet shoppers, less than 1% would have even HEARD of BV.

It looks like BV's new owners have had it's stock rise from a lowly 5 cents to a lofty $6.25 in a few short months. Enron/World.com book-cooking going on? Someone's going to be stuck when and if the stock goes back to 5 cents.

Dim didn't lie, he listed even more than 350 FLDs. Easy to figure too. You go Dim!!

Why are you posting about something going on at Mootalk here at Vendio? Dim supposedly doesn't even post here. If you're going to allude to things said elsewhere perhaps you should provide a link so that people will know what you're talking about. Just a suggestion

You know darn well that Dim and many of the Moo posters read this forum. Ghoulguy assumes Dim has but one ebay account. Ghoulguy false accuses Dim on Mooo ( just like a few others -- present company included ).

It seems more logical for you to run to his defense at the board on which you say he is being treated so unfairly. It costs nothing to join, you don't even need a cc

Oh, I've marveled at reading about his apparently failed stock market newsletter business while calling BV rinky dink at the same time. He's very smart but that market must have collapsed when the stock market crashed.

Ace - come on back over to EO - we won't hurt you. All you have to do is concede your mistake. It'll be ok.

Of course, I wouldn't mind an appology for being called arrogant for using my own brain rather than mimicing the misconceptions of others either but.....

NOW PLEASE PUT ME BACK ON YOUR IGNORE LIST

Oh wait, he won't because we all know what kind of fraud he really is.
