Over $2500 for fuel-baa hum bug.
I went across country twice, 6 weeks in 1969 and 5 weeks in 1971.In the process I went thru every state except Alaska.I drove a car,no cell phone and no credit card, but lots of American Express travelers checks I did see motorhomes back then and was thinking how nice it would have been to have one.Now its probably cheaper to drive and stay in hotel/motels.

Na, he's a transplant...I believe he's really a northerner born in New Haven CT. His daddy was born in Massachusetts, right?

Stonecold, why are you always so angry?

I'd guess it has to do with a feeling of powerlessness in real life Maggie.

Your point's silly stonecold. A person could list just as many missing conservatives here. I don't even recognize half the ID's you just mentioned.

Classic, dont know what gas prices are in your pary of NY but I just paid $2.13 a gallon (here in the Houston area) to fill up our Explorer.

And it looks as thought the prices are still dropping....

wow thats cheap-its around 2.79 here-but after paying nearly 3.17 for awhile even 2.79 sounds cheap.
