KD. The only email address that was posted for 'the longest time', that I'm aware of was an outdate yahoo.com email address.
And no, I wasn't aware that my address what also viewable there. I never saw it.
But that really doesn't matter....whether it was or wasn't, imo. All those who over the years have made their email address available to other board members....NEVER were asking to have FILTH sent to them....nor spam. IF some poster decided to email one another....that happened all the time.
But what logansdad has done to other posters here....and has NOW threatened to do with my email account...is in violation of ALL posting rules here....ISP rules....and it's NOT ASKING for FILTH to be sent to them. That was never the intent of this site allowing posters to share their email addresses. NEVER.

Yes, I did briefly about five years ago when Jack's thread was running here for awhile.
I was very trusting then, people seemed nice and nothing bad happened but I haven't done it since.

Guess I touched a nerve there. It's really entertaining to watch how you're able to make any discussion into one of morals and politics Linda. When it comes to the internet, my students are taught to protect themselves by NEVER giving out personal information to ANYONE. They are taught that THEY are capable of preventing the sort of nastiness you describe THEMSELVES. They aren't taught to become the victims of creeps, they're taught that they need to take personal responsibility for what they do and what happens to them online. This isn't about morals or values.
