Perhaps you fail to understand that in the UK these were recommendations from the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, Linda. So, let me see if I've got this right...Linda posts about changes in health policy in England and then rants about this happening in the U.S., with not a whif of documentation. When she's called on it, starts screaming about liberals. Now I bet she's run off to hide.

Because that's EXACTLY what the european-wanna-be liberals here do. Copy what happens in other more socialist countries - and start proposing it here in the States.
They whine and whine about personal freedoms that they believe they're losing here....but not one word of objection from them when government starts stepping in the lives of those they wish to emulate.
Yea right....keep out of their bedrooms they whine...but it's okay for gov. to start telling business what they want them to start doing? LOL LOL LOL
Looks to me like they don't REALLY mind gov. intervention in their lives at all.....otherwise this wouldn't 'set' well with them NO MATTER which gov. was pulling this garbage.

This is ALL tied into their SOCIALIZED health care program...you know the one that's RUNNING OUT OF FUNDING. LOL
Got to put pressure on business now...to keep those costs down. NOT on JUST a volunteer level....NOPE....business are being TOLD by gov. to start them.

Yeah, kinda like seatbelts, airbags, 5 mph bumper safety ratings... how about those check points at the airport, or even better... the President not allowing people into his election events unless they were screened... boy those pesky liberals are getting on my nerves.
