Liar_k,

Again druggies, drunks and lawbreakers are you talking about George W Bush or James Brown or both?

I would guess good old George and James had stories to share about their good old days when they met.

I can see James telling Bushy, gee Geo I got drunk out of my head a hit my wife I feel real bad.

George tells James, Don't feel bad James I got Saddam and so far its cost 3,000 American lives and 360,000,000,000 dollars and I sleep very well at night.

LOL...once again showing you don't know anything about my personal life....but just can't refrain from assuming. You're obsessed mingo...and only post falsehoods about my private life.""""

(No assumptions linduh, just clear knowledge derived from your posts..."there for all to see"....)

"""tsk tsk tsk""""

(linduh, you should REALLY do something about that creeping corset!)

"""Yea, guess I, according to those who admire wifebeaters, druggies and lawbreakers.....I should feel ashamed for not admiring totally out of control 'artists'. lol lol lol"""

(linduh, it's lovely twisting but no one said they admired his actions just his music although I DO admire his charitable work)

"""Truth is...I don't. I see them for just what they are....just how they've lived their lives...and don't believe making great music EXCUSES all their horrible behaviors.""""

(Your total lack of education and cultural development is showing again. Try reading the biographies of a few great composers or artists...I'm sure if you go to a library(you DO know where yours IS, don't you?) a kindly librarian will give you some names as I'm sure you wouldn't know any.)

""""lol lol lol

I understand the liberal minds see things differently....but that's why I feel so many of them don't have very good ethics nor morals.""""

( Well, then, aren't we glad your opinion means nothing..... )

""""They're just too willing to overlook anything negative when it's someone THEY support.""""

(

And you DON'T ?????LOLOLOL!!!!)

LOL

all that coming from mingo who thinks like logansdad does that we should 'heed' the words of a mass murderer like saddam.

Gee....guess if he could sing well too....we should also overlook his terrible personal life.

Not the way I see it....or him. And I don't agree with the opening post that he will be 'missed'.

He won't be by all who can take a persons overall life actions and clearly see his character left much to be desired. Talent has NOTHING to do with ones character. NOTHING.

"While the democratic party complains about everything THIS President does to protect our Nation": "What would a Democrat president have done at that point?"

"Apparently, the answer is: Sit back and wait for the next terrorist attack."

NOW you're starting to learn something...it's a tiny start but you DO have so little to work with....

Society can still benefit from people who have personal problems or "lack of character" as you put it. Churchill was an alcoholic. Freud abused cocaine. If we had dismissed their contributions, the world would be very different. You can search history and find many, many who made major contributions to the world, but had major problems, socially or mentally. Not every issue is black or white and no one is perfect. That does not mean they can't make a valuable contribution to society.
