I'll put it another way KD,
YOU didn't know enough politically to know that your own gov. had senators.

logansdad thinks that if polled our President wouldn't approve of the war.

That SAYS a LOT to me about your abilities to grasp political isssues.

As to kiara...I don't see her as being intelligent....I see almost 90% of her posts as being personal attacks. Nope, that doesn't take intelligence, that takes a willingness to show her low character, imo.

And KD now you're trying to excuse the increase of canada's emissions on everything OTHER than what they've been attributed to BY people whose job it is to report the REASONS you've not met you goals.

Blaming others for buying what your nation sells....is NOT going to help the environment you and your ilk SCREAM about all the time.

It's HURTING it...making it worse. And yet you can't even admit that FACT.

Thanks, Kraft.... we posted at the same time. You've shown your knowledge here much longer than I have. But let's face it, neither one of us adores Bush so we're clueless twits about any topic ever discussed. Remember that.

kiara's always making this all about bush...is HER problem...not mine.

My position on what the wacko environmentalists have been trying to do for MOST of my lifetime has NOTHING to do with Bush.
Other than I agree that a happy medium between protecting our environment and NOT bankrupting our Nations economy HAS to be our goal.

Not stopping all planes from flying....lol...removing all cars off the road....and blaming HUMANS for the changes in our global conditions.

IF humans were responsible then how could OUR nation only increase it's emissions by 16% when canada's increased by 36% and when we look at how many more human beings live here than there....that just couldn't be the case.

"While the democratic party complains about everything THIS President does to protect our Nation": "What would a Democrat president have done at that point?"

"Apparently, the answer is: Sit back and wait for the next terrorist attack."

I'd like to see you back that one up lindak. Personal attacks against who? It's not me coming in here calling others names and looking for a fight each day. Best you look in the mirror.

So name all those I am attacking here 90% of the time, Lindak. I'd like to see you put their names here for all to see and a link to the incidents. I've commented to lots in the past couple of weeks so you won't have to dig too far. Put up or shut up.

You're on every topic on this board so it's difficult to avoid you. Even on the Dixie Chicks one when I commented to someone else about George Clooney not being my type you started to fight over what kind of guy I liked and then you threw a big tantrum. How stupid is that?

Linda, I know that the Senate is 1/3 of Parlaiment, but even to this day, I've NEVER heard a member called a Senator. Not in the newspaper, not on tv, not in person. I've never heard that term. As for the rest of Canadian politics, judging my pool of knowledge based on that one thing is pretty silly, but I know how you like to grasp at straws.

As for our emissions, if they are really as high as you say, then we need to do more. I believe that war times is an exception to ANY treaty but certainly no excuse.

One of the biggest polluters - planes. Remember when all flights were stopped on 9/11 to 9/13? The emissions were cut by 90%. What can be done about that?

Plus we're Saddam supporters, Kiara.

Senators in Canada are an appointed position, a pay off to the good old boy's club. They have no real power and they serve no function except to rubber stamp bills. They don't even have to show up that often.

Thanks Kiara! Seriously, I've never been able to understand Canadian politics. I wish Canada would hire Clinton to run our country for a couple of years instead of all these weirdo's from Quebec.

Kraft, if Clinton was involved in Canadian politics some bimbo from Quebec would probably give him a blow job and next thing WW3 would break out and Canada would be to blame for that also.

How dumb can Linda really be. It is obvious that Linda doesn't know the difference between reality and humor. I know Linda takes every that is written as a FACT.

Wasn't she the one that thought someone's side remark was actually contained in a published news artcile.

Linda still has never answered my question regarding the fact that other countries can reduce their greehouse emissions but the US has failed to do so. How can that be when the US is supposed to be so much more advanced?

Could the answer be that Bush does not care about the environment even though he ran on the promise of becoming part of the Kyoto Treaty.

Linda are you going to deny Bush said we can not win the war on terror?
