Some Republicans of the xenophobic variety are stubbornly ignorant and exclusive. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that they believe the English language originated in America and that the only acceptable American accent is that of the Christian mid-western variety.
They are the kind of dingbats that object to words of foreign origin in the National Spelling Bee.

liar_k, Again for the 10th time,I don't like or respect you. I only answer questions from people I respect.
LIAR_K,you need to be working on the badly divided republican party. Looks to me like another disaster is brewing for the republicans in 2008.
The republican party has become very divided because of BUSHY unpopularity plus what Rudy Giuliani and John McCain stand for.
Many republican voters are saying Giuliani is a baby killer/gay lover/married 3 times.
About John McCain many republican voters are saying he is a warmonger/flips flops on the gay issues/a BUSHY supporter/flips flops on Christian issues.

So Linda are you, Bear and Stone still insisting the people of Canada speak Canadian.
Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.
---------------------------------- The duty of a patriot in this time and place is to ask questions, to demand answers, to understand where our nation is headed and why. If the answers you get do not suit you, or if they frighten you, or if they anger you, it is your duty as a patriot to dissent. Freedom does not begin with blind acceptance and with a flag. Freedom begins when you say 'No.'
