It seems that if you are a Sales Manager Pro user as many of use are, there is a ongoing problem in the Sales Manager Pro threads under Vista. I think Vendio should (prioritize) show more effort in this serious problem of what appears to be a Non-Compatibility issue that as of one week ago (last correspondence from Vendio) is creating much concern to Vendio users. As we know, soon enough, this new Vista operating program will be of use in the majority of everyones computers. It would be nice to see Vendio address this as they do not have an answer for anyone at this time. One week has passed in the SMP/Vista thread and no clue to what people can do to make this work with Sales Manager Pro. This should have been thought of (researched) awhile back, don't you think??

Hey dude, ya in the wrong room. When Bob Barker asked you to pick door #1 door #2 or door #3 you, my friend unfortunately picked door # 3 which is the chat board from hell. This room is filled with commie pinko liberals who constantly want to undermine the government with name calling and worried about some horsesh*, civil rights, even if it undermines the security of our country. You will also find right wing fanatics who want to lay nukes on Iran,Iraq,Syria,N.Korea and a host of other scumbag third world nations, not to mention constantly belittling the commie pinko slimeballs with a constant barrage of LOL!'S and faces. This room is filled with hate, slander, name calling, law suits,b*tch slapping etc. Most people in here could give a sh*t about Sales Manager Pro...they're too busy posting their B.S. in here-and Vista? They have no idea what it even is-they think its probably some town in Arizona with a great view. So being the fact that you picked the wrong door, you have won the boobie prize-stuck in a locked room listening to Barry Manilow cds for 30 straight days 24/7.You should have picked door # 1-thats the E.O.Sorry about that, better luck next time.
HAVE A NICE DAY

I hear ya. Either way, I would think that someone out there might want to slam Vendio for a problem that does concern users in this room. I would assume that everyone in this room is tied into Vendio someway or another. This is one way to maybe help get this issue in the eyes of Vendio customers as Vendio seems to want to hide this serious problem. Barry Manilow seems like a better idea than waiting for Vendios support or response. It will give me something to look forward to. PS. I hope people out there do realize that Vista will be the system that all will have to eventually (sooner than later) recognize.

Many people are approaching Vista and its probable bugs slowly with cautious optimism. Vendio is probably working on the combatability issue now.
Good luck with your effort!

The collective Round Table Sheets, Bear! LOL
It needs a good airing out once in a while.
How are you doing old man? Have you got a new puppy yet? I still have my old hunting dog, according to my vet she only had a few months to live, that was last Summer..someone forgot to tell her though, she is doing fine. I will never be able to replace my two Yorkies.
PS. are the stars still shining bright in Texas?

Maggie, no pup could take Radar's place. That was the ONE VERY SPECIAL dog in our lives. We still have Sugar the Sheltie, Squirt the Chihuahua & Little Guy the Toy Fox Terrier.
Yup the sky have been bright & clear here for the last week or so, expecting a minor chance of showers tomorrow.

This is a two year old post. My guess is that the OP is pretty close to figuring out Vista by now, especially since M$ has announced that it's being replaced. Either that or he's given up....
Oh wait, M$ originally named Vista after a cow. Jersey or Hereford or something, and they announced it's imminent arrival what, 3 years before it actually came out? Maybe there's still time to finish the learning curve.

Mrmontuno1 is still having problems with it. Vendio should invest in a cheap Vista machine to advise their clients. Most problems are easily solved.

Perplexing, isn't it? Although it's not unusual for a new poster to post a topic best suited to Ebay Outlook here on the Round Table, it is indeed strange for another "new" member with his first post to find and post the thread again which was originally posted two years ago.
If mrmontuno1, with his first post, is familiar to you as another ID, that might shed some light on the mystery but then why wouldn't an experienced poster use Ebay Outlook to post his concern about a Vendio sales application?
Since I know well the humour and shananagans of Classic, who it was suggested shoud be the proud recipient of the "Bobby Goldsboro booby prize" for his response, it occurred to me that someone might like to bump his laughable response to the top once again.
I hope that I have answered your "??????", Pixia. My "pin" was meant to be humoruous as every other comment in this thread except yours.
Lighten up, pixiamom. And when you have a question, ask it with some degree of specificity rather than a series of question marks.

Mrmuntuno1, you can try asking your question on the Vendio services board or on the EBay Outlook board, which has more posters, welcomes Newbies and is generally more helpful - not cloaking derision as humor.

[b]"Mrmuntuno1"[b], you may post your question on Ebay Outlook where there are a number of people and a moderator qualified to answer your question. This board was designed as a forum for subjects other than those related to the business aspect of Vendio. You are welcome to discuss any topic here but you have a better chance to have your business related topic addressed seriously on Ebay Outlook
To start a thread on Ebay Outlook, just click "Post New Topic" on the upper left side of the page above the current topics. That will take you to a page where you can compose your topic name and then your question or comment.
Good luck!

Pixiamom, you write...."Mrmuntuno1, you can try asking your question on the Vendio services board or on the EBay Outlook board, which has more posters, welcomes Newbies and is generally more helpful - not cloaking derision as humor."
It's rather silly to pit one board aganist another especially since nearly every member of the Round Table is a contributing member of Ebay Outlook. Ebay Outlook is generally "more helpful" as you claim, not because they have a more benevolent group of people but because the primary goal of the forum is to help members with problems buying and selling so that they may use Vendio services successfully.

Hello,
For anyone running Sales Manager Pro on Windows Vista and running into any problems please let us know. There have been solutions in place for some time now if your copy of Vista runs into any problems running Sales Manager Pro.
There is some mystery around the poster listed above as they aren't using SMPRO and wouldn't usually have access to this forum (and likely found some way to post here after doing a web based search, which explains why a 2 year old thread was located and responded to.)
If anyone does have any trouble with Sales Manager Pro running in Windows Vista, please post your question to the correct forum located here: http://www.vendio.com/mesg/list.html?num=42
Regards,
Chris

There's a chance that the poster who bumped this thread found it in a vista vendio google search and had no idea it was a moldy oldy - doubt that classic knows that many big words so it couldn't be him.

Hello,
If you come back tomorrow and re-download Sales Manager Pro, we will have yet another build available that has been tweaked a bit further to address some leftover Vista issues that the previous release did not.

Chris
