Coincoach asked,"Linda said "Are you coincoach, one who is also committed to America's defeat in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars???" You mean disagreeing with you makes me a traitor?"

LOL! Perfect!

ROFLOL.....okay...now I'm convinced that your one of the radical lefties here.

Can't just answer a simple question without throwing in some additional garbage.

This must be a liberal trait/part of their character.

NO WHERE, coincoach did I say or even suggest you'd be a traitor if you are committed to our defeat.

THAT all came from your own mouth.

But it was a GREAT way for you to avoid answering the question. You usually don't....another liberal trait here. tsk tsk tsk

Coincoach did answer the question. You were probably rolling around on the floor so much you missed it, Linda_K.

I see that now. The pages advanced.

So...if it's not defeat...then what exactly would you call...leaving the Iraqi's when they can't defend themselves?

Do you seriously believe that our terrorist enemies wouldn't see it as a VICTORY for THEM?

And just what would we do then? After we bring the soldiers home....and that action has emboldened our enemies?

As Ann Coulter said: Just sit and wait for them to attack us again?

And Israel....would you be against acting as their ally in that should the mad-man of Iran decide to follow through on his threat and 'wipe Israel off the face of the earth - [with his nuclear ENERGY program, no less ] would you support just standing by and watching that happen also?

Somehow I have a feeling that you don't have the will to do what is necessary to support this newly established gov. in Iraq NOR the older one in Israel.

But I do see that you already share the DEFEATIST attitude of the left.....when so far...all initial reports say what we're doing there NOW is working.

Nope....the pessimistic left....the left with a 'crystal ball' into the future who just KNOW we're going to fail.

tsk tsk tsk

No need to ever accuse you of hoping it might work....you're already saying 'it can't.

Such negativity and certainly NO support for our troops accomplishing their mission.

"While the democratic party complains about everything THIS President does to protect our Nation": "What would a Democrat president have done at that point?"

"Apparently, the answer is: Sit back and wait for the next terrorist attack."

What can I say?

She's been doing this for years now.

It's pathetic....but she just can't help herself....she LIVES to get my daily attention.

Sometimes it's just too tiring....too needy ...and I just ignore her.

Doesn't keep her from continuing to seek out my attention.

Maybe IF someone on her own side of the political aisle would speak to her......she wouldn't be so needy of my attention. """

Now THAT is a perfect example of cowards who can't face the truth LOLOL!!!

While Democrats target Petraeus.....

TODAY'S EDITORIAL
March 12, 2007

As the ill-named "surge" of U.S. troops to Baghdad goes forward, congressional Democrats -- more heavily than ever invested in failure -- are pressing ahead with their political campaign to ensure that Gen. David Petraeus's plans to take the war to the terrorists are never implemented.

The word "surge" gives a false impression of the military campaign taking place in Iraq. It connotes some temporary increase in forces that would enable the terrorists to come right back as soon as Americans leave (something that has happened time and again in the past).

Gen. Petraeus is going in the opposite direction. He plans to implement a longer-term counterinsurgency campaign that goes well beyond just killing and arresting terrorists to include moving U.S. troops out of their military bases and into Baghdad neighborhoods to protect Iraqi civilians.
At this point, with most of the reinforcements yet to arrive in Iraq, it is impossible to say with certainty that the new strategy will be successful. But there are a number of encouraging signs, as U.S. soldiers have begun leaving their large bases and move into neighborhoods in Baghdad.

According to David Kilcullen, Gen. Petraeus's senior counterinsurgency adviser, sectarian fighting between Shi'ites and Sunni Arabs has declined by between 50 and 80 percent in various sections of Baghdad.

Moreover, families are starting to return to the capital. Until approximately a month ago, between 500 and 600 Iraqi families per month fled Baghdad.

During the past month, by contrast, between 600 and 1,000 families have returned there. Also, some of the Sunni insurgent groups who oppose the murderous rejectionism of al Qaeda in Mesopotamia have been holding talks with Iraqi and U.S. officials.

At the same time, Gen. Petraeus observed, terrorists have continued carrying out deadly attacks against health clinics and schools; car bombs have targeted college students in Baghdad; and on Tuesday more than 100 Shi'ite pilgrims were massacred in Hilla, located south of Baghdad. Gen. Petraeus points out that American forces face a long, difficult road to stabilize Iraq and has quite appropriately left open the possibility of sending in more troops if necessary to get the job done.

While Gen. Petraeus works to defeat the terrorists, his efforts are being undermined at every turn by congressional Democrats -- who sound like buffoons when they move away from their talking points.

Christina Bellantoni of The Washington Times reported on a press conference held by the House Democrats on Thursday to discuss the specifics of their own Iraq proposal, during which House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and others incoherently stumbled over details of their plan, forcing reporters to stifle laughter. That's just another illustration of the poor quality of wartime leadership the nation currently has on Capitol Hill.

In New Tactic, Militants Burn Houses in Iraq

By DAMIEN CAVE
Published: March 12, 2007
BAGHDAD, March 11 — Sunni militants burned homes in a mixed city northeast of Baghdad on Saturday and Sunday, forcing dozens of families to flee and raising the specter of a new intimidation tactic in Iraq’s evolving civil war, Iraqi officials and witnesses said.

The Transition in Iraq Militants also continued their campaign against Shiite pilgrims on Sunday, striking as the pilgrims returned home from the southern city of Karbala after observances there for the Arbaeen holiday over the weekend. The worst attack, a car bombing, killed at least 19 people in Baghdad as they were riding home from the south in a pickup truck.

Attackers burned both Sunni and Shiite homes in a neighborhood of Muqdadiya, a city of about 200,000 in Diyala Province, about 60 miles from Baghdad. There were differing reports about how many houses were affected. A security official in Diyala said that at least 30 houses were completely burned, including occupied and abandoned buildings, while a Sunni Arab politician from the area said that only six houses were destroyed. Some witnesses said as many as 100 houses were set on fire.

Victims from both sects blamed the Islamic State of Iraq, an umbrella organization for Sunni extremists that has taken over several other towns in the area. Residents said the group had recently demanded money, weapons and oaths of support from the local populace.

They said the burnings were intended to scare people into giving in or running away. Dozens of families escaped the city, either left homeless by the attacks or terrified that they would be next.

Here's the scariest questions you can ever ask a neocon:

""Here's the questions they love to ignore:

Why doesn't bush think it important to find bin laden? ...you know, the guy who REALLY was behind 9/11. He obviously wants THAT enemy to be free to do whatever he wants !

Why do you view Muslims as our enemy yet want us to spend BILLIONS and kill and maim our troops for a country that is 97% Muslim?

This is a huge part of the problem we have.....many here think I post what I do because I just support Bush and this administration 100%. I don't.

99.9% of the time is close enough to make you a Bush whore.

What I AM, as I see myself, is an AMERICAN....who supports her country....supports the elected administration and when all three past administrations have said the SAME THING....I support our Nation taking action.

If you were alive in early 1770's, your actions would have caused this country to be under the control of the British today.

Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.

The duty of a patriot in this time and place is to ask questions, to demand answers, to understand where our nation is headed and why. If the answers you get do not suit you, or if they frighten you, or if they anger you, it is your duty as a patriot to dissent. Freedom does not begin with blind acceptance and with a flag. Freedom begins when you say 'No.'
