Watched TV this morning ..lots of talk about Edwards.....cancer survivors (NOT their relatives) were interviewed and all said they went right on living their lives as normally as possible. But they also said no one should judge Elizabeth Edwards as each person makes their own decision based on what's right FOR THEM.
As SOMEONE is apt to quote "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country"
....the Edwards are heeding that advice.
Afterall, I'm sure the husbands, wives, children and parents of our soldiers are trying to live their lives as normally as possible under tremendous stress and difficult circumstances......
And when the mutilated and maimed come home their families still must go to work, care for the children, run errands....their world does not let them curl up and hide.
And think of the dying themselves who still have to work until their death or until they're too weak to get out of bed because they need the insurance....they have NO option in this, the "world's greatest country".
