Linda is supposedly so informed about what goes on in Canada, I am surprised she did not know this. But then again Linda still belives Canadian is a language and is spoken by the people of Canada.
Once again Linda is so concerned about what goes on in foreign lands - seal clubbing but yet does not speak out against the animals that are killed for sport in America. What about all the deer and bear that are hunted. What about all the animals that are trapped for their furs? What about all the crabs and lobsters that are burned to death?
Linda would you prefer the seals be shot to death? Would it be OK then.
It would appear that Linda is so concerned about artic wildlife, but then she supported Bush's drilling in the Alaskan Wildlife Refuge.
Personally, I do not think it is right to be clubbing animals to death for the sport. I understand why hunting is needed.

No one here has said they approve of baby seals being clubbed and I doubt anyone would say that. The way Cheney hunts is like shooting fish in a barrel. The pheasant do not have a chance and cowardly, lazy Cheney can bag all he wants just barely raising his gun. I do not like hunting, but understand many people do. What respectable hunter would get satisfaction out of that?

The seal hunt is not right across Canada, it is in Atlantic Canada each year but this year there is lots of broken ice.
Here are realities and myths about the hunt so Lindak can perhaps read and become more informed.

I don't think that is possible. Once Linda has her mind made up there is no changing it despite her claims of being open-minded.

Notice how careful they are to NOT state that they think this clubbing of these baby seals is okay or not.
kiara appears to support the practice....but as usual will never get off the fence she stays on. Doesn't want to have anyone actually KNOW her position on the issues.
Oh well...who really cares.
But those that find fault with hunters who hunt for food are nothing more than hyprocrites when they don't find clubbing these baby seals unacceptable.
This is just another petty issue to #*!@ about when it comes to those they can't control/our elected officials they so despise. Can't have them JOKING or playing around either ...without getting their wrath.

For the record, I don't support the seal hunt and have never made it appear that I believe otherwise. I realize that many are uninformed about the hunt thinking that baby white seals are slaughtered so they never bother trying to learn the facts to become more informed.
Chickens in the slaughter plants in Arkansas are cruelly treated and so are the tame pheasants that Cheney blasts as well as the fenced tame deer that some of them also shoot for sport.
A legalized and tightly regulated hunt of seals in Canada has absolutely nothing to do with Rove bragging about ripping the heads off little animals. That's an action usually done by sick boys who grow up to be cowardly serial killers........ or as an alternative send the children of others off to war to be slaughtered for their own power and greed.
These men take the pheasants for bragging rights at big dinners where they boast about their conquests but they secretly take the coffins of the dead soldiers off the planes and hide them from public view.

The legal seal hunt in Canada has absolutely nothing to do with Rove, Cheney and Bush sending young men and women off to an illegal war to be killed and wounded so they can fulfill their own personal pleasures and greed.

You continue to NOT recognize that MOST dems/liberals ALSO voted for this war.
Because they now have chosen a cowardly path....doesn't mean THEY don't have responsibility for getting us into this war.
Denial IS a liberal trait....but you can't change the facts....nor history.

So.....IS AR the ONLY state that you've researched and believe they treat their crops of chickens poorly?
No other US states nor Canada do likewise???

This discussion isn't about chickens in Arkansas or seals in Canada. It's about Rove and the rest of the warmongers getting enjoyment while sending young men and women off to war, killing and wounding them and other innocent people, not caring for them when they return, ruining families and causing heartbreak while people like you sit on the sidelines laughing and cheering them on, feasting on it daily and lusting for more at any cost.

Are flocks of chickens called crops of chickens in Arkansas like crops of corn and peas or tomatoes or is she referring to that pouch or gullet thing in the chicken?

Hey all you all remember liar_k going tsk tsk tsk and lol lol lol
I remember right after Bushy got elected the second time and liar_k was then "dancing in streets" and not trying to LIE her way into defending Bushy's failures.
Liar_k was then doing Yes!!! Yes!!! Yes!!!
The only reason I even bother with liar_k is her getting beat up so badly here makes me laugh. Tsk Tsk Tsk lol lol lol Yes!!! Yes!!! Yes!!!
Hey liar_k, My post was not about pheasants being killed. Tsk Tsk Tsk lol lol lol Yes!!! Yes!!! Yes!!!
My post was about what YOUR ROUGH TOUGH HE MAN DICK Cheney calls "HUNTING".
Mingo your right I have never seen a man that the name DICK fits better than Cheney.
I am guessing his mother named Cheney Richard full well knowing people many would call him DICK.
Mrs Cheney DICK's mother must have had a vision of what Cheney would look like and act like in his 60s.
Lets face it Cheney does not look or act like a Richard. Cheney acts like a DICK he not only acts like a DICK, he looks like a DICK,walks like a DICK and hunts like a DICK. Republicans like liar_k have even said Cheney is smart or heady so I guess we could even say Cheney is DICK HEADY.

About the "hunting." Some wise person has said that hunting is the only "sport" in which only one team knows it's in the game.
I wonder what the "sportsmen" among us would think of the game of basketball as one team on a floor, no opponent, shooting as many baskets they wish and announcing they'd won.
Since most hunting isn't done to put food on the table, I wish those "sportsmen" would just acknowledge that they like to kill. Then we could call them killers instead of sportsmen.

Oh brother....listen to the liberals now. LOL LOL LOL
So petty that they whine about others cutting loose and having some fun or enjoying a sport/hobby that millions of Americans enjoy.
LOL...I'm just SURE there has NEVER been a democrat that ALSO enjoys the same thing. But when it's a republican doing those terrible things listen to them have their hissy fits.

I don't remember reading here any criticism of hunting that included the hunters' political affiliation. We're talking about a hunter who killed 70 pheasants who were released for the sole purpose of being slaughtered by him. No self-respecting hunter would enjoy that. Cut loose? Enjoy a sport? That's as much of a sport as throwing cats off buildings.

You fail to realize there are more and more Republicans that are against Bush's plan for this war and the way he has been handling it.

Millions of Americans do not hunt like Cheney and his crew as they are usually allowed only 3 pheasants per day. Five hundred farm-raised pheasants were released for those guys to mindlessly slaughter. That is not hunting, it's a sick sport solely for sick-minded men who send thousands to war without proper equipment to even defend themselves. Cheney smirks and Rove prances because it's all one big joke to them.

ANd there is plenty more for the liberals here to WHINE all about. REAL HAPPENINGS.....BIG ANIMALS..... and PETA did it....murdered them all.
Now there's something to get all worked up about. NOT shooting pheasants that will be EATEN.

I was not the one that put the report about the pheasants here, Linda_K.
I made no comments of my own with the C&P from MSNBC that I posted about PETA.
And please note that whining is not a characteristic of mine. You are the whiner of this board, the one that has temper tantrum outbursts and the one that is the board bully constantly frustrated over your inability to control how others post here.
